Nothing today, but I like the idea behind the thread. It might remind people not to forget important jobs.

Hi, Took the brand new radiator cap out the bag, then box, to find out that after i fitted it, it would not even hold 10 psi. Pondered for ages as to wheather i should take the base gaskets off too when i replace the head gasket that is leaking, that will also not hold 10 psi. thought about taking my zed for its mot. Went and got pished, lol. Steven.

I havn't done anything to any bike today, but last thing I did was to start up the 125 as it hasn't been running for a long time. I wanted to do the same on the 350 aswell but then I realised it's broken lol. I just kicked the engine around a few turns to relube the bores etc. Hopefully it's enough. Edit: Oh now I just remembered the last thing I did, I cleaned a 125 pipe header from rust and gave it some new paint. Getting the rust off was a PITA but I got it all down to bare metal. It didn't stop the rust though lol, too much pores in the metal that the rust stays in. I have to sandblast it in the spring and perhaps do the vinaeger trick aswell. Oh the joy... Why didn't Yamaha just make them in SS instead?

Done nothing to mine since last year . Been rebuilding the garage - new boiler, wiring, pipework etc. Have been buying parts for all three bikes though so will have lots to do when I can get them back into the now slightly bigger garage Dusty

Tried to remove the seized bleed nipple in my caliper and subsequently snapped it off. Then I drilled it and put a screw extractor in it - which snapped off too. Now I have a very hard and undrillable extractor stuck too! I gave up and went back into the warm!! Anyone got any ideas how to get it out??
