Went for a ride out on my LC with my mate on my other LC. Stopped at the biker cafe in Quatt and saw Tezrhc on his LC there... Good to see ya, both your bikes look mint, love the paintwork on both.

Took the pv out to test the rearset positions. I also took the pv fuse out for shits and giggles. Well it was a pig up to 7k. Absolutely no power and all spluttering. Then all f**king hell was let loose right into the red. Absolute animal. And the mutts exhausts were soo loud from tickover right up way louder than normal. I stopped outside brands hatch and put the fuse back in. But the power hit from 7k up was really strong. Reminded me of my old proddy tuned 350lc. Not for me these days. Too much work on the gearbox to ride. Loved the really strong surge though.

I sold this old rolling project to a local kid, Hes heard about LCs from his dad over the years, So he bought this yak, picked up a tuned banshee engine, 34mm carbs, and painted it all up and this is what he came up, Pretty damn impressive, considering what he started with, He just has to fit the front muddy and hes done. and he's only 22!! Did the owner take this to the Quail gathering? Im pretty sure I saw it on the YouTube channel Ken's garage at about 8.30 in to the video there it is.

He did have it there..., The funny thing is Ken took a bunch of pics and sent them to me, He didn't know that was the roller I was trying to flog to him

probably use the wavey ones off the other wheels , a do have a pair of good nick standard vj22 discs but centres are a bit scruffy and i dont think you can take them apart for coating/painting , i will post up the weights ready to go with tyres discs sprockets spacers etc and ask the forum for the weight of a standard 4lo front and rear ready to go for comparison out of interest mart

There were three of us supposed to be meeting up to ride there, but just didn't fancy the weather, though it may have been quite localised early doors, as I'm a few miles up the road from you and it was definitely raining here at 7am.

Wired in my first Ignitech. Ignitech provided great service, map preloaded, most of the connectors already done including the powervalve. Got the two pin crank sensor connector from Koyjakcat. Wired up, sparked straight away. Happy days.

Changed oil 4 dirt bikes. One on the KTM 300s blew out one of the o-rings in the head and was sucking coolant into the cylinder and out the exhaust. Popped the head and looks like the o-ring got trapped last time the head was off. Previous owner had the engine fully rebuilt just before I bought it. Also swapped the clutch cover gasket as it was leaking oil. Common prob on the 250/300xc. Fitted a modded gasket. That should sort that. Fitted some bark busters to one of the bikes. That’s it

Changed the clutch plates on my F1, they have long been out of tolerance. Something was biding on the first attempt, so I had to re do it. Good now
