Changed the clutch plates on my F1, they have long been out of tolerance. Something was biding on the first attempt, so I had to re do it. Good now Lol I changed my clutch also today on the F2, no reason other than I did not know the history of the one fitted, all was in tolerance but changed anyway as it was apart, new springs, 3 ebc 3 standard yam as recommended from the experts on the site. Have yet to ride it.

I rode on the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride today, my 5th time but the first time on my LC and the bike was not at all out of place. The group riding was great and there were lots of like minded bikers dressed up “dapper”. 😎 The only shame was that the organisation was a shambles, with poor directions, a venue cancelled and others that weren’t geared up for 150 bikers. 🙄 Oh well, better luck next year! 🤣

Changed oil 4 dirt bikes. One on the KTM 300s blew out one of the o-rings in the head and was sucking coolant into the cylinder and out the exhaust. Popped the head and looks like the o-ring got trapped last time the head was off. Previous owner had the engine fully rebuilt just before I bought it. Also swapped the clutch cover gasket as it was leaking oil. Common prob on the 250/300xc. Fitted a modded gasket. That should sort that. Fitted some bark busters to one of the bikes. That’s it What's a 'bark buster'? Alex

Did some adjustment to the DCCDIP1 race I just put in. Calibrated the rev counter, set a rev limit and a 2nd input for a map switch. Also checked the PV alignment with the new gizmo. Now for a test ride

Test ride of my F1 with a Mick Abbey tune, PWKs and now an ignitech went really well. Bike is going great now. Now to check the compression / squish and also to play with some stuffers that I bought. Also had the chance to work a bit on my father's SP2. Not often I get to play with a HRC bike. What a beauty. Almost everything is bespoke to the SP2.

Assuming it’s mega ultra bright now? eBay AUXITO 2X H4 9003 HB2 LED Bulb Hi/Lo Beam Motorcycle Headlight High Power M4 AU. Nice white light not blue like some of them. Dropped the contrast a bit and you can see the yellow parking light a bit more clearly, which is why I changed it to a LED

Been checking on DVLA site daily for colour change as I sent log book off 2 weeks ago for colour update. Yesterday colour went from white to black on DVLA, YAY! Took in for MOT today and still listed as white on VOSA/ MOT system so unable to have MOT, bugger!

Replaced the fuel tank tap and fitted the carb rebuild kits that were kindly sent by Norbo. Delighted to have the engine running without litres of unburnt fuel p1ssing out the exhaust! The garage is definitely less of a fire hazard now

I was about to say the same thing. Never had an MOT issue because of the wrong colour.

I was about to say the same thing. Never had an MOT issue because of the wrong colour. Alex It has been a few years since I last did an MOT but I think the issue is that the tester can "create a new vehicle record" on the system to change the colour of the bike, this will then generate a new V5 from DVLA, but as I allready have a colour change request 95% completed (I suspect my new V5 is in an envelope and in a pile to be posted out) the tester does not want to confuse the system, or maybe get a telling off from Vosa? Just frustrating as DVLA site says black and VOSA says white and the sun is shining😐

As above
When I first mot'd my hybrid it was white but dvla had it as red
The mot tester changed it to white and a new v5 was issues
Was many years ago though
