Looking good Will those carbs need to be reangled because of the lean angle ? Mmm not sure, the manifolds have been modified to make the carbs fit so this is their final position so not sure how well they will work. Other KH hybrids run them like this , we will see. The only other alternative is to go the reed valve route & the carbs could then be leveled out

Got my refurbished crank & honed barrels back today so I could do a bit more. Got the pipes dry fitted so I could reposition the side stand so it clears the left hand pipe, think I need to adjust the brackets slightly to get them sitting properly.

Well it's been a while, finally got my powdercoat back after 6 weeks so I can start assembly, still got to get spindles, bolts, spacers etc zinc plated before I can get a rolling chassis but there are a few bits I can get on with, putting the wheels together, love assembling new parts not quite the gold colour I wanted but still bling bling.

Looking good so far Nick. For what it's worth, I think you are correct with the front discs - the top one is the RHS.

Nick, I quite like the gold shade of the wheels; but I don't think it it go with kwak green.
What colour are you painting the tank etc?
Will it be blue like you old one?

Not sure on colour scheme, will have gold wheels & calipers, stainlessn exhausts & most of the rest of it will be black including the side panels & front mudguard so the only things left will be the tank & tail unit so I recon it needs to be white but I'm always open to suggestions
Done a bit more, assembled the newly powder coated swing arm with nice new bearings
Put together the rear light unit
Also test fitted my modified chrome powder coat grab rail well happy with how that came out, just needs a set of black plugs for the ends of the tubes.
Also took in all the spindles, bolts etc to be re-zinc plated, gonna be a 2 week wait cos of Christmas

You should have put a zinc plating kit on your Christmas list then you could do it yourself over the Christmas break!!!! I bought one from eBay new for about £100,looks a bit Heath Robinson but gives fantastic results.

The green/gold/white scheme works well on that Headcoats.

Seen that bike before it was build by Cabbie who also built the Kwickasfuki unfortunately that colour scheme doesn't float my boat Bazzer, I've got a nickel plating kit but they only want £15.00 to zinc that lot as I've done most of the prep work for them.

I'm not sure it would work so well with a black frame.

Well got me bits back from the platers £15.00 bargain & had my bars re-anodised black for a fiver. Now I can start assembly, all the fixings that aren't plated I've replaced with stainless. Decided to splash out on a second hand Nitron shock, barely been used, pity you can't really see it when the panels are all on. Swinger & wheels dry fitted so I can check the alignment marks before the tyres are fitted. Tyres fitted today, bloody BT92s were so hard to fit he put a chip in the powder coat on the rear wheel with a tyre lever still he knocked £40.00 off the bill for damaging it. Notice how much weight he had to fit as well because he didn't get the dot on the tyre lined up with the valve. Also got this back today as I couldn't be arsed to prep it well paint stripper doesn't work anymore plus it was a bit rusty in places, so they stripped & zinc plated it for £20.00 won't go rusty now.

Thanks guys Used the 150 rear tyre, apparently the BT92s are a touring more than sports tyre, that's why their tough as old boos & the fitter had trouble getting them on & chipped my powdercoat still hopefully they should last a lot longer that the BT090s I got fitted to the RD, spanked after 1200 miles
