Nik, nice to see an update. I remember following this at its start.
Engine casings and heads and barrels look nice. Will they stay that clean or slightly dull off without any form of coating?

That's good question Jon vapour blasting is supposed to seal the pores in the aluminium & the guys on the KH forum said to spray everything with silicone spray as it repels water & does not burn off or leave an oily residue, which I have done so we shall see. Any how I don't go out in the rain
