Ive never used a tank liner and never intend too, i fill the tank with vinegar at end of winter and leave for a week, give the tank a good swill out and then fill with super unleaded, works for me

MY OEM LC stand gives a precarious Lean angle. Dunno Why yer having 'too upright' issues. Unless you've fitted Scooter wheels which Would affect the angle. It may be the rgv running gear affecting the height etc, my standard 4lo sits fine , ive unbolted a mates zx6r stand haha, to give it a try, will report back in due course, thanks lads

Seen yours Donald. The one above and your bike made my mind up. I had 3 schemes in mind. the other two were Steve Baker or Kenny Roberts. Our bikes actually have something in common. The tank I have had repaired with the massive dent and leaks , was actually the black tank that was fitted on your bike before you bought it. Been busy today, stripped a bit off the bike, getting ready for powder coat Also whipped the head off, interested what oversize the top end was on. .75 which I'm happy enough with. The one combustion chamber has a "scar". Hope it's useable. The engine is 4L1 bottom end what looks like proper 4L0 top end including the correct carbs. Need to check the oil pump Gonna look sweet, so our bikes will share some DNA , the Matt Black will be history soon then

120 max on standard wheels would be my choice, my standard 4l0 has a 120 rear and never noticed any difference to handling, was a right bar steward tae fit though, think a 130 too much for a standard wheel in my opinion

From the start of this build I had white 2 stripe blue as my paint choice with a lot of black powder and anodizing. Then I decided on a variation of Kenny or Steve Baker paint. My mind was made up when I saw my first scheme for real. Now my mind is made up. I have told the painter to do it in eye popping white with blue stripes. This is what I had in mind from the off i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/0fQAAOSwpDdU4l6h/$_57.JPGIm biast as ive just done mine in white blue like the above yin, but it will look lush

Right swapped over the indicators and relay and all worked well so that ruled out a wiring fault,so I changed all the bulbs for new and fitted a new relay , still no as bright as id like but flashing properly now . Think i'll spray the inside of ra indys silver to brighten em up a bit.

Right , now ive fixed the slow indicators problem ive fitted on the tank and panels, looks rather good actually , im no doin much more to her this winter, wanna get her road legal and start enjoying her, my budget for her this winter is spent lol, ive done what I reckon was the bits needing done most, lots of repainting , changing fasteners, polishing, tidy the electrice up etc etc you all ken what I mean as you've all been there , hours and hours in the garage, she is blinged up on the outside and under the panels is nice an tidy, motor started 4rth kick and is sounding sweeeeeet with those Lomas pipes, I aint gonnae move her to the finished section though as I have plans for her for next winter 1) Powdercoat the swingarm black 2) Spray the wheels same white as the bodywork 3)Fit some carbon indicators (Already purchased) 4)LED brake light (purchased) 5) Fit some blingier headlight mount 6)Fast road tune So like most of them she will evolve, ive taken her out this affa and she rides and handles well,( on my own private road cough cough, I knew there was a good bike in there. But my funds are dry and im needin tae replenish em lol so the above will wait till next winter anyway some pics as she stands today, im gonnae change some horrible over long cables that came with her ( tacho and throttle)and fit my plated standard kickstart and headbolts, apart fae that she just gonna get a good seeing to lol

bad earth somewhere? have you tried swapping indicators with your other bike? Trying that today , will report back later , thought about a bad earth too, tried a 2 pin relay I had lying about and it flashes correctly now but the bulbs aint very bright now. Probably need to clean up the earth points as well .

Checked all four bulbs, all are the correct 21w bulbs , damn lol, the writing on the flasher relay has worn off so don't know if its a standard one or not, the standard flasher relay in my other LC wont flash the hybrids indicators at all which is strange, only other thing I found was I have 2 new (pattern) indicators on the right side of bike and 2 original indicators on the left side, the buld holders on the older ones are a bit rusty, ive cleaned em up best I could but made no difference, the newer ones don't flash any faster anyway, hmmmm. What about the bulbs in the instrument cluster if they were wrong would that make a difference ? they are meant to be 3.4w , cant see them causing an issue but could be wrong , cheers in advance guys
