Prototype billet headlight bracket sorted, now it’s time to get it apart and get it built for real. Might be a while for an update. Can’t upload pics, gone over Tapatalk limit.

Measured and ordered the cables, trying this for hydraulic clutch. Ordered a bleed nipple bolt, currently pulls about 10mm, didn’t test with cable, any idea’s how much a cable pulls? There’s half a lever before it starts to move so hopefully when fully bled I’ll get more movement.

The footrest isnt foldable for using the kickstart. I lost to many skin on my right leg. 😤 So i am curious how does your kickstart line up with the footrest? At the moment there’s lots of clearance but thinking of going down the DTR125 route with the kicker so watch this space.

Hi Russ not sure how it would look, but I have a suggestion for your rear master cylinder alignment. Mount a shim on the top fixing hole between master cylinder and fixing plate. This will cause the top of the cylinder to move towards the wheel and the bottom part to move away from the swing arm. And have it c**k-eyed! Argh my OCD! 😂 I’ll sort this tonight when I get back in the cave with 3 spacers 👍🏻

Why not fit a button head hex bolt, going in from the swingarm side - that will reduce the height of the nut and overlong bolt you currently have ? Or space your main hanger off the frame a touch more ? Dusty The main hanger is symmetrical to the other hanger, would mess with my OCD! 😂 I like the looks of the hex head on the outside, I’ll just make 3 spacers to ensure it misses. Will sort tonight, just keep taking pictures as I go and uploading so people can see things in real-time. It’s easy to just show things done as if no problems are hit.

Made the spacer Then found it would hit the swinger 🤨 Plan b use old part to space temporarily Add washers for spacing to see what’s what That should work, so 3 spacers required to fit it

Bought a 6mm rose joint and tapped the thread to 8mm Test fit Now to turn up a spacer to replace the washers

Handlebars and levers came so I can now measure for HEL cables. The black bits won’t be black when finished.

Well Bri didn’t like my attempt at a rear master cylinder bracket so whilst he’s had the bike on the ramp he’s making another, well, he’s already on Mk2. See pics, he’s moved it all in toward the frame, it needs a rose joint instead he says. Mk2

Rufforth was great about 15 years ago, last time I went it was like a normal car boot sale with very little in the way of motorcycle parts. Stafford and Newark are rubbish too now. Same tat month in month out.

And she’s off to the welders for some tabs for the undertray to be finished, headlight brackets being made in billet so she’s almost ready for a tear down and the real build to start. Still waiting for a billet clutch case that runs pump with see through cover and lock up clutch, but believe it’s not far off being ready.

Not got 1, got this pic and my bike, anyone got a pic of theirs to see if I can still fit 1? Can’t go where my 2 new bolts are? Think the rear cover would be in the way?
