Changing the face is easy, plenty of threads on here to show "how to". Out of interest did your clocks read correct when all done ? Mine over read.Apparently you should mark the position of the drum before you remove the needle... Any thoughts ? I lifted the needle over the pin as advised on a thread here and fitted same place before putting back above pin, only ridden it to test centre and back but all seemed OK.

The springs are new standard off Norbo, the cable is what was on the bike from Germany, think I'll just swap that to eliminate it anyway, thanks.

How stiff should the lever be? I've stuck new springs in and the cable is free when the side casing is off but it's bloody stiff when all connected up? It has no more plates in the basket, are they just stiff?

The before pic, 32 years sat in a barn, 3 months resto that was meant to be a 2 year project. My 1st resto, I got hooked to say the least. Paid £400, spent £3500 turning it into what it is now.

After this it's had a second hand but nice genuine rear light, new airbox panel and chromed brake pedal, oh and some fatter replica rear shocks. Currently on display at Granby's.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a mess, but it is different! Roll on the respray.

So had a mess with the vinyl cutter at work and made some decals just to make it a bit difference until the respray. It's far from perfect as the other decals had been lacquered over but it is different again. Other panels still to do

Chaps, I downloaded a picture of the decals from Google and I imported them into Autocad, having replicated them I've ended up with these Question is, how long is the mudguard decal so that I can try and scale them all, I know they won't be perfect but I just want to tidy the green machine up a bit until she's painted, I'll be cutting some silver to go with the black also, pics to follow once I've squared it up.
