I measured mine at 0.81mm so it is a bit thinner than a std gasket I think . Got it from the USA so it must be an imperial size .

Ive been using one for about a year now with no problems . Gave it a bead of Wellseal first then torqued it down as normal .

If it helps I fitted some progressive springs I got from Norbo . 20 oil was terrible so I swapped it for 10 at the weekend . Problem sorted .

Hi Paul Be very careful about this . I rebuilt my 4LO on another frame which had no V5 over the winter . Then I sent off my V5 for a change of chassis number . It has a box to do this on the V5 . The thing is that the DVLA will not allow this even though my frame has a clear and legible frame number on it and comes back clean on a check . They will make you have a Vehicle Identity Check then get a Dating Certificate . Then they make you strike out the frame number and have a new SABTVR number stamped on it . It took me 4 months of endless phone calls and visits to my local DVLA office . Not to mention carting the bike about in my van a few times . The DVLA now insist on this for all " Reconstructed Classics ". Feel free to PM me if you need more info . Ian
