Every weekend I get the Lc out of the garage and run it up to temperature. Last couple of times I've noticed some fuel on top of the crankcase, and traced it easily enough to a weeping float bowl gasket on the right side carb. I bought this pair of carbs totally refurbed off ebay, and whilst I dont doubt the good standard of work, it appears pattern gaskets have been used on the float bowls. A call to Fowlers got 2 new genuine gaskets delivered; 20230916_114635 by dusty miller, on Flickr And fitted. Whilst I was at it, I swapped the screws over for some stainless cap heads I bought from Kempton; 20230916_115906 by dusty miller, on Flickr All back on and running with no leaks Also got the rear brake braided line made and fitted, so need to bleed the front and back systems and then it's done. Was gonna get a new seat cover, but I've stuck some black tape over the split on the side, and cleaned the seat up. I just cant justify the cost of a new cover and the time to fit it when the rest of the seat is so good. Dusty

I like the carb bolts. And I agree with you about the seat. What happens to the bike when she's all finished?

Probably sell it Alex, especially if I decide to do another.

That's what I suspected. I hope you do build another one.
