Erm hello you on strike? Or had a heart attack after pricing wheels For the tr? Looks fabulous. Between the wheel price and dvla knocking back the 3hm1 I've had it lol I picked up the rear shock Jack up plates and spacers I've had made and the engine cases are back from vapouring tomorrow so some slow progress Steve

Jack up plates and spacers fitted
Used an old shock spacer between the plates on the original mount point and got a pair of top hat spacers made to go in the holes to the rear of the mount and a pair of high tensile bolts to stop the plates rotating.
Finally a couple of spacers to go between the plate lower mount and the shock eye
Shock is now on its shortest setting and when on the stand the rear wheel is an inch off the ground (Not 3 inch on the longest setting as before)
I'd add pics but now it's tapatalk's turn to be cnuts
Apparrently I've uploaded 10 pics already this month so unless I pay 77p a month and register a card or my PayPal against Google play I can't do more
I don't have a problem paying tapatalk but what if I don't want a payment method against Google play
Steve

I have had problems being logged out of Tapatalk I get notifications I can see the quotes etc then when I try to reply it says Iโm not registered? Bizarre. I emailed them and they said I should be able to post 50 pics a month but the message I keep getting says 10 I've now found out that as my Google account is managed by my work it won't allow payment methods to be set up Now tapatalk sent me a link to upgrade without Google which I have now done I can post pics now but if I try and upload more than one at a time or upload hi res pics it says I need to be a VIP member to do it I've just paid for VIP+ ๐ Steve

Another little piece sorted When I offered up the tdr hub to the swingarm it had 1mm play each side so I had spacers 1mm bigger made Now see the wheel is not central so 4mm off the caliper bracket (2mm off each side) and a 4mm bigger spacer for the sprocket side should sort it now Steve

Threebond1211? I assumed that the 1215 was the way to go. Can you tel us why rhe 1211? 1211 spec says it's petrol resistant, 1215 doesn't Think 1211 is slower curing too so more assembly time Steve

nice work Steve. I use 1211 as well, it was recommended by a builder of banshee and yps engines in the USA.

The primary gear key and oil/water drive I was missing turned up so fitted and torque along with the clutch centre nut Clutch plates now soaking in oil Fitted another crankcase breather spigot as I managed to break the new one They have been superseded to a black one that is tighter to fit ๐ Steve

Waiting on new red pv bush o rings to arrive as only got pattern ones which are crap and even Yam have superseded to a black over sized ring which doesn't fit well. Luckily I had a full set of bushes that measure 17.2mm and under so don't have to buy new ones for this build Fitted the valves in the barrels to save a little time when the rings arrive The barrels are freshly bored to 0.75 over but was a bit annoyed as one was 0.00 and the other 0.25 and they looked fine but hey ho they said they needed it to get them true. Hopefully get the motor finished and fitted over the holidays ๐ Steve
