I need to get some stash used up to clear more space. I have 4 painted LC body kits up the loft, my carbon street Tyga RS250 bodywork, one more donor LC engine, 2 boxes of LC clocks, 8 pairs of cylinders, 3 standard LC exhausts, 4 microns, 2 stainless Gibson pipes, about 10 LC wheels stripped ready for refurb and a few good plastic parts....
I will be getting one more frame to build another LC to sell after this one as I have enough spare parts here.

I will be working on getting a rolling chassis together first. I have the refurbed front wheel and the forks I had off Dusty. Just got a top yoke powder coated. Need to find a good pair of discs, bolts and locking tabs.
The swing arm has got scuffed in storage, so needs to go to get done again. I have a new YSS shock ready. I also have all the spindles re-plated ready to go.

Found a decent head but it is cosmetically challenged, so getting it bead blasted to clean it up, will then get it skimmed then powder coated. Dropped off cylinders to blast and powder coat before rebore.
Also spotted some storage marks on the powder coated swing arm, so that has gone in to be done again. Should be done for Friday. :-)

Should be done for Friday. :-) I think we are all getting a bit cosmetically challenged these days especially me as i have been wearing an airoh jet helmet in the winter with the rain pelting my face at 70 mph. Quite refreshing though. |

I found a nice pair of discs in the garage. Also found bolts and tab washers for re-plating.
Found footpegs and hangers.

Got a pair of Avon Roadrider 2 tyres. Front wheel is the one I had machined and now has a new tyre and inner tube fitted.

Back on this again. Found a few marks on the frame, so had them repaired and got the frame powder coated again.
Cylinders and head have now been powder coated. They are now away being skimmed and rebored.
Just put the new locking tabs and bolts on the front wheel.
Sorted the cups for the headstock ball bearings and got some new balls.
Got all the clock parts ready to build.

(cough) you're meant to fold down one end of the locking tab. But I know you know that. And I know that you know I knew that.
Why did the frame need a second powder coat Rob?

The frame had a few scuffs underneath from being dragged around and also found a couple of small dents which I got welded up.
I have not locked the tabs over yet as I have just ordered some deep 3/8" single hex sockets so I don't mark the bolt heads when I torque them to spec.

Thursday after school Engineering club Getting the engine ready for number 4.  My 2 assistants went through the 3 donor parts boxes to find the best of each part then put them in the green box ready for building. |

I take the plating to Redditch Shot Blasting and Paul gets them done for me at one of his contacts places.
