I had the RGV adjusters powder coated so had to take a bit off so the top hat spacers fitted for the KR1S axle as it's 2mm smaller
I had to take a bit off the back of the top hat tube so when the axle was tightened it would snug up properly
Does this sound right ?

A tip for ya when you mask up next time use the thin butchers tape as your line as it leaves a much crisper edge

I use 3M tape (the blue stuff) for lines like that. Also great for masking out curves. It's what car painters use to get the flame effect down the wings.

Another possible issue with the feckin discs !
The one disc outer looks to have been finished , a bit like honing with a cross hatch pattern but the other one looks smooth
When measuring the thickness , the honed one is 4.95mm, the smooth looking one is 5.17mm thick
Is this an issue ? Did they forget to finish the one disc ?
I have emailed EBC direct to see what they have to say......
Fukkin brake discs and showers LOL

Don't know if chopping the rubber up makes it flimsy but with just a bolt and washer, the chain rubber flaps about so made a plate to hold it better

Fitted head race bearings and yokes Loosely fitted swing arm to check if the chain rubber cleared the frame
Put the lock in for the German steering lock and re riveted the frame plate back on
Waiting for new swingarm dust caps and the EBC discs, plus need to get the rear tyre changed then it's on it's wheels next !
