Several years on and got the build # 2 out again Figured I will be dead if I don't do it now LOL
This is probably the earliest pictures
KR1S wheels are the best, the law says so ! but just getting the rear wheel in took 5 spacers/sleeves Also the KR1S rear brake disc needs to all line up with the RGV brake arm They use the same rear brake caliper at least
This is the bike that gave me the urge to do another !

I hate the RGV front mudguard as it's way too bulbous and want something more slimline off a Ducati monster or similar or get some surgery done on the standard muddy ?
Having a YPVS engine again and got some Lomas GP style exhausts to try
Probably going to blatantly copy the Kenny Roberts paint scheme as if done right , it looks stunning Plan B and C would be the Japan RZ 250 or Mars bar colours
If I was going Kenny colours then I would swop the "350" decal for a "YPVS" on the side panels
RZ 250 colours with RGV running gear

This was an early pic and was going to fit an Aprilia RS 250 rear wheel in but just couldn't see how it would fit

Well the mudguard arrived but has cracks around the two top mounting holes each side which wasn't mentioned FFS
Have placed the mudguard on the bike though and I think can be made to fit with 2 little brackets
Anyone know anything about plastic welding

Look up q bond on ebay.
Comes with filler powder and glue like super glue
Bit of selotape on the front face, drop some filler powder on the rear and drip the glue over.
Build up in a couple of layers but watch the fumes lol
Been using it for years

Yes from a Ducati , it has a 94 date stamp on the inside, so from that era
Going to need a few brackets made up to fit though

RGV brake calipers on KR1S discs The pads are just about flush with the edges of the discs !! so don't know if that is acceptable but 100% of the brake pad is touching the disc

Calipers needed spacing inwards a few mm to centralise the discs in the caliper slots

Hl , nice looking build there . ah I think that's how the pads should be on the disc up to the edge and not past it lol .

Does anyone have the paint code for the yellow Yamaha Kenny Roberts colour please ?
Also the "eagle" decals for the side panels, does the eagle head already have the white background or does the painter need to do that ?

Well the painter came today to pick the tank and panels up !
I said I don't care how long you take within reason and how many questions you ask but I want it right !

Bit of light at the end of the tunnel maybe ?
Edit again ! Just checked the link via my phone and the pic is showing !
