Had coffee with the ‘difficult’ member of the family. BBNFA. Boost bottle never fixed anything. Complete rebuild on the cards, one day. Fingers crossed Dusty’s rebuild threads are still around when that day comes. moments later, Cinderella’s coach passed by. The Driver? Grandpa Walton on his mobile.... Of course... That’s a boost bottle for a pv engine in a lc

Did a run for some sandpaper and the ‘pfffting’ from the exhausts was def getting louder. On arrival at the shop found 1) one of the ‘middle’ exhaust nuts was about to fall off and 2) guess what’s missing from the toolkit? 12mm spanner. Guess I never checked the kit. Interesting selection: Needlenose pliers, electrical tape and some razor blades? Them pliers were handy enough to get me home quieter. Wait maybe the other end of the screwdriver handle is a 12mm box? No telling right now- in bed. This is Hudtm60 reporting live from Nashville. Good night.

Ran errands on the 500 and noticed this on one stop That’ll be the speedo cable. This bike came with a full original tool kit, so I was able to take off the instrument cluster (3 Allen’s) re-attach the cable and put it all back together.

Think mine are on the shelf upstairs. Talking of price of toolkits, I was told yesterday RC30 toolkits can go for £800!!

Started stripping LC down for the build. Drained 2t from tank back in to the bottle, took ages so went for a cup of tea, came back to a sea of red....... didn't think about how much room was left in the bottle. I know I've mentioned I'm a tight arse before, not sure I have emphasized how much of an idiot I am.😁

New set of BOOTS fitted for the weekend. Just fitted a new pair of the NEW Bridgestone BT46`s to my LC2 this morning before the customers arrive, look very simillar to the BT45`s but with a few extra markings in the treaded area and the front tread pattern has been reversed for better wear apparently. Fitted loads lately so i thought i would treat myself on Flickr on Flickr on Flickr on Flickr

Having problems with Tapatalk log ins. Needless to say they look good, I may have to go to a lock up though as when it gets to 9000rpm the clutch slips it’s making just under 50hp when the clutch goes as the real power comes in . So I’ve got to get a few more miles on it then Dave will make some pipes that will bring the power in lower down.

I fitted the Stealth lockup clutch to a 4LO engine but you will need the YPVS side casing and make some other mods to the input shaft and pressure plate. Dave can do that for you. Kees was destroying the clutch plates in a sprint competition. So i decided to fit the stealth locker and it works very well with the lightest springs i could find. If your not into that bulbous washing machine look this is the route to go. STEALTH

Thanks Tony funnily enough I have a pv side case for the air cooled bottom end for the flat track but could use the 4l0 one as I have 4l1 barrels that I will get bored to 275 or even 300 for that build.

Went to knockhill on the Gamma but they wouldn’t let me in no spectators at track days 😩 Three weeks ago I had something similar at Assen. I was in my Landrover and never even said anything and the man at the gate was shouting in English at me that Assen was closed because of Corona. They were running Demo's on Saturday and i was invited. The rider was officially allowed three pit crew. When i told him i was pit crew for the demo's in the Dutch language he told me i wasn't on the list. The rider had to explain that i was part of the crew. My Job was very important i had to get the coffee for the riders, tell them how nice their bike looked, tell them how fast they were and mix the petrol and oil for refueling. Hopefully the next time i might be allowed to fill the tanks up.

These are the bikes from the people i was with.
