Looking good Chris! The airfilter makes you wonder what else you will find that needs doing, tho to be fair I think youve got it covered with this work. It'll ride much better with this stuff done. Loving the small platform lift, I must be one of those.

Thanks Arrow! Was just thinking about you as I was adjusting the oil pump. If your tackling the oil supply you might want to invest in inline oil check valves (if not fitted already). My two cents. Cheers.

Fitted a pair of reed block spacers today to try and dial out the final bit of the flat spot, nothing too radical at 5mm thick, which is just thick enough to make the carbs a swine to refit i dont know how people go on with 8 or 10 mm spacers ! Anyway i cant test it today as its just started raining , so thats tomorrows job.

Finally fabricated some brackets out of tent pegs to hold my 31k belly pan secure and away from the allspeed pipes. Shame I have not mastered uploading pictures but think about a “s” shape with both ends curled so that they are held in place by bolts and nuts. The key was finding a material both strong enough but could also be bent easily. Wicks, £3 for a bunch of pegs, recommended

What you building Andy? 392 ? No Mate, standard 64mm barrels with 115mm long rod crank and Wiseco ultra stroker pistons, so 370ish cc, we'll see how it goes? Andy.

I had a restless night with clutch plates marching around in my head after testing my 8 plate clutch yesterday. I ended up putting the six gorilla grip springs into the clutch.
Time to start measuring everything again.

Went out for a short spin on the 250 powered LC. Got nicked for speeding. The police clocked me at 154 kmh in a 100 zone. With correction it came just under the 150 limit. Above this is an automatic ban. Phew!

I was just thinking I need to go one tooth up on the back sprocket when the police car came flying past me and pulled into my lane almost driving into the car in front of me.
