6mm line tape... makes LC wheels soooo much easier. Used that on some of the spoke, still have to trim it back though, or maybe my paintings rubbish, found if i never trimmed it flush with the spoke the paint accumulated behind the tape

Checked and replaced a very dodgy looking clip securing the pipe from the bottom of the oil tank in my recently bought rd359 31k. Slowly working through it and sorting everything out to my satisfaction. Next job is getting the very poor mph clock disks replaced with proper disks, which will be die by Kateannwells in Nottingham.

Bet she sounds good with those pipes.... They are indeed great sounding pipes these JL ones. Much lighter and they make the bike look slimmer too..

On the first day for weeks when it was mild enough to be possible to work in the garage without losing sensation in my fingers, I fitted new charging connections to the Yam and the Kawasaki, so I can easily keep the batteries up to scratch without dismantling everything. Did a bit of work on the pneumatic bike lift too. It did not work, but I have plans B,C, D and E ready!

Starting to reassemble soon
Funny thing is it is not until I take a photo and post it that I notice what I have missed.

Stripped, cleaned, and re painted front master cylinder, had a pig of a job getting one of the top cover screws out, it rounded off so had to drill it and then try to get the last bit of the screw out that was sized, got it in the end and without damaging the threads, also knocked up a bracket to hold the brake line t piece to the bottom of the headlight bracket and re located the horn to clear the brak lines.

Refitted the clocks from my 31k after having Simon Wells fit his excellent dials, added stickers for the ignition and switches, all look so much better.
Fitted a set of allspeeds but have problems refitting the bellypan as I cannot get the lower screws to fit as the belly pan snags on the pipes, will look again at a solution after a good nights rest

Put an MOT friendly no plate on the scruffy but fully rebuilt 350LC. A couple of shims to put on the oil pump and its ready for its first, and last MOT in my ownership. Its 40 next year ps Arrow, hope I am moving up your list for an oil pump re-furb, I have one boxed up ready to send when you are available.

Rebuilt carbs, replaced reduced-to-dust filter, lubed cables, adjusted all the bits attached, now off the get wheels balanced. Front has no weights, rear sounds like it has sand inside it, getting rid of that kooky idea and going old school with weights, have to do fork seals next. Not looking forward to that. Bike is in great nick. So much olive green plating.
