Cleaned carbs , checked tyre pressures and rode the black and grey F2 for its 1st proper spin from a bare crankcase and frame build. The TSA's sound great !

Just refitted my cylinder head as it was weeping. Nice looking working machine there Toby Intrigued at the reed block/carb adaptor set up. looks purposeful. J The reeds are kept close to the barrels for top end and the green balance pipe was specially developed by GGRC it looks a bit amateurish but it works well. I don't think GGRC are that well known

What rear brake caliper and carrier are you using mate and torque arm.I'd love to see a close up shot as I'm doing a similar set upon my Marsbar with JMC arm and belgarda wheel. Nice bike there mate.

Nice bike there mate. hello mate , the caliper is Brembo and the carrier/hanger is Tyga , and both from jap4performance , no torque arm as vj22 fitment if you clickon the pic you canthen zoom in a bit found this , mart 20181127_173015 by martin finch, on Flickr

and got the clutch in...this is actually the first attempt...imagine my surprise while basking in my success of actually getting the order right (rubber-friction-steel, rubber-friction-steel and ending with the correct (friction) plate, I later read that I'd done the locking washer all wrong. So far I think I've done about everything twice. And by the way: the copper pipe rules....don't use rags to lock the engine...them gears are sharp and shred the toughest cloth into tiny pieces which may later find themselves in the wrong places.

Wasted an hour of my life swapping the guts out a ypvs servo
The one I fitted had a good case but whined even when not moving
Another 2 were the same
Found a silent one but case was broken
Thankfully done now, fiddly little buggers

Thought I’d take the N1 for a spin but petrol pissing out of left carb so spent the afternoon removing the seized needle valve ( thanks for the advice Dave ).

I put the bike on the dyno today with the thought, check the effect of using the correctly adjusted cylinder head and maybe one jet up or down.
AAAAAARRGH back to square one, more head scratching.
I hate jetting

It's not an RD, but it is an LC. Finally got round to doing a bit on the old girl, cleaned up & fitted the forks and continued with the build. First time on her wheels since May 1980.
