Dropped off my LC2 plastics and tank off for their respray. Decided to have a change and go Black/Red, but keeping the frame Red.

After the guy who recoved my seat and decided in his wsdom to put an extra sliver of foam on the seat i always felt it was a little bit arse high as when i got the bike it had " drag " style bars... Swopped them out for a set of " ultra lows". Feels great now...

Received some bits from Norbo. Idle gear,clutch basket tab washer, water pipe O ring and clip. All now fitted along with new clutch plates, just waiting on my side casing returning from NK racing.π

Did battle with swing arm bushes. Compo 2 Swinging Arm 0, put up one hell of a fight though.

today i took my f2-n2 project bike for its first proper run out. I went up to raceways motorcycles in fleetwood. It ran brilliant ,and i was proudly showing it off to the lads up there. (yamaha dealership) and i was very happy. Then i set off home. About a mile from my house i noticed a lot of steam coming from the left hand side of the engine. I looked at the dashboard and the temp gauge which is actually the fuel gauge but connected to the temp sender was reading HOT. I pulled over and got off the bike. The coolant drain bolt had fell out of the left hand barrell, and the bike was doing a great impersonation of a drunk thomas the tank engine who had fallen over on his way home from the pub. Great plume of steam coming out sideways. DOH!! After leaving it for a while to cool down , i carefully road home, hitting the kill switch as i entered my street and cruising silently back to my house. Oh well should be a quick fix tomorrow! Teething problems

The quest for more power has well and truly got me big style. So stripped mine down and upgraded the rgv running gear roll on 2019 massive power 100+bhp new engine and new look

Attempted to start it after fitting the spare engine, it seized in November 16 and has sat in the garage unloved as young kids have sapped my energy!
Wonβt fire up on the stale petrol in the tank, but will run on ether. Hopefully fresh fuel will bring the light at the end of the tunnel a little nearer!

Finally got my lc250 fired up after getting rebored,fitted new throttle cable ,(refitted oil pump (after arrow worked his magic on it) bled oil pump .carbs were done by mutts ,and lo and behold fired up 4th kick smoked garage out until burnt off oil from rebuild.happy chappy ππ

Fitted a new set of clutch plates and springs to the RD, 3 standard and 3 heavy duty springs, now selects neutral nice and easy. Got rid of the Tokico 4 pot calipers and replaced for 6 potters, bled no bother, loads more feel. Chucked the fairing back on the RGV ready for a carb re-furb (sorry about the Suzuki photo), been a very productive day! Oh, and solved the fuel weep from the tap with genuine fibre Yam washers.
