Hey Nick, just wondering how much gap is there between the frame rails and how much clearance or how easy was it to get the motor in after?

Hey Nick, just wondering how much gap is there between the frame rails and how much clearance or how easy was it to get the motor in after? It does go in & out in one piece but I fitted the barrels & head after fitting the lump on final assembly as I didn't want to scratch the powder coat

OMG that project has blown me away ,its looking awsome are the exhausts straight through or do they have various plates fitted to give back pressure,as I fancy making some in the future but always wondered about getting the right back pressure

Thanks ;D The exhausts are straight through, they were designed to work with the Mick Abbey fast road tune

just read this build through for the first time (shame on me) all i can do is echo what others have said. i love the pictures especially the one that makes it look like it has triple exhausts ( the top one is mirrored in the stainless under tray)

Now that the X factor / Strictly dancing and other such garbage is back on I don't get a look in on the Tv so spent a bit more time in the garage ;D I've made the mounts and fitted a Cagiva Mito 125 rad as it holds 50% more coolant than the F2 rad, that should keep the bugger cool also fitted a RGV thermostat which opens at 50 degrees C. Also fabricated a Renntec style radiator grill, should look OK when it's powder coated satin black Finally got the R1 speedo sensor and loom so I can test out my R1 clocks, fabricated a mounting bracket you can see in the photo above, spun it up with a valve grinding tool connected to a drill and it worked first time shows 38MPH with the sprocket spinning at about 3000 rpm not sure what that will be in the real world but hopefully a speed healer will sort it out.
