Got the rear end fitted ;D I've run the rear brake hose inside the swing arm so I can run it without a chainguard. The tyres & discs are fitted so as soon as I can muster some help to get it off the bench she'll be on her wheels Here's my attempt at fitting 2MA reeds got some 6mm spacers from NK, cut the cages off an old set of reeds & sandwiched the reeds between the two, bonded together with 3bond & the gaps filled with JB weld then sanded down. The finished article ;D

Love the look of the creation Nick. I always enjoy the look of the single sided swinger bikes, almost seems a shame to put the pipes on and cover those sexy wheels

I love it! I always think that putting the pipes across the wheel spoils the look of the single sided swinger and this bike proves me right, I cant get enough of it... superb work Nick!

Got a problem round peg in a square hole. Got to recess the R1 clocks in the top of the Gilera DNA headlight fairing, so after reading Ravedaddys piece on plastic welding gave it a go. 4 hours of plastic welding, filling with plastic bumper filler & a new pair of lungs later from the bloody fumes happy with the results ;D Also got my pipes back from nickel coating today, happy with finish

Quick update got a set of speed triple mirrors, love these ;D pity about the Triumph decals Also had a bit of luck, bagged a paddock stand from a bike dealer in Purley for £31.00 off ebay, real heavy duty muther fuc**r To make it fit the NC35 swinger found that the GSXR front spindle fitted perfect in the stand bearings & the part that clamps in the forks fitted in the NC35 arm how luckys that. Just welded an old spindle bolt into the middle & there it is sorted ;D A lot easier to work on now Sent the body work off to Andy2bikes to get it painted, gonna be R1 blue with black speed blocks & decals O yeah nearly forgot made a new side stand aswell ;D
