4 hours of plastic welding, filling with plastic bumper filler & a new pair of lungs later from the bloody fumes happy with the results ;D Under statement, looks like it came from a factory, award yourself a gold star and give one out to the pipe maker/nickle plater while your at it

Nice job Nick, looking really good. Did you have to drill a locating hole in the bars to stop the KR throttle slipping round? I did on both of mine!

Congratulations on finishing a superb build and fair play to you, you've got excellent fabrication skills. I've seen more quality engineering on this forum than on any oters that I'm a member of, I love the rebuild threads.
The only thing that I'm not keen on is the headlight, my feeling is that no matter how modified the LC, I'd always want to keep a round headlight, for me it elects the whole identity of the bike regardless of how modified the rest of is. It's just my thing and I'm not trying to take anything away from what is I superb bike!

Nick,
Just wondering for running the Break line through the swingarm did you use any rubber grommets for the holes ( if so what one's and where from ), what size hole did you drill.
Cheers

I used Venhill brake lines so I could bolt the banjo's on after I drilled 13mm holes & used the rubber grommets that come with the brake llines, also the part of the brake line which is in the swing arm I covered with heavy duty heat shrink tubing to help protect against chaffing.
