Have you checked the condition of the fliter that's inside the tank already? Is it still in one piece/not broken? The OEM one is more than fine enough for the job, adding extra in line filters may restrict the flow and cause more running problems.

Here's a question for all the Biden fanboys, if you truely think that he won fair and square and has nothing to hide then why even try to deny Trump his legal right to take it to court in the first place?

For the money the Lidl/Aldi versions that come round from time to time are worth a punt too. Mine came with the flexi wand attachment too,...I haven't used the whole thing much but for my hobby use at least, it's been great so far.

I had a chat with someone a few years ago who was CEO of marketing at an airline that sponsored Lewis Hamilton at the time, can't remember which one but it was a middle eastern airline, apparently the Hamilton family are really nice people, especially Lewis' mum, Lewis could be a bit of a knob off track, but he was very focused on his driving and winning and got quite stressed by it - which is the case for most successful drivers and riders, Niall Mackenzie could come across as an uptight arse when he was in GPs, but he was one of the nicest people in bike racing I've met when I was chatting to him at the NEC last year (mostly about LCs) You/he said it right there, that's the reason why some can't stand the guy. I don't think it matters whether he's actually good or bad at driving a racing car or whatever he did for a living, I don't care,.... the guy leaves a bad taste in some folks mouths because he acts like a knob!

Yet another thread dragged down by conspiracy theorists and crack pots. This was about F1 drivers sadly didn’t take long before petty nastiness intolerance and the usual crap from the usual mouths reared it’s head. Time this thread was closed you want a poll to jack of over I suggest you open one, me I’ve got better things to do than waste my time with oxygen thieves and the living embodiment of Darwinism. Lol, there you go with the name calling again Veg, just because you don't like to hear a difference of opinion and how some folk truly see Hamilton. I never would have thought that a man of your age would become one of these 'snowflake' people,...how wrong I am.

The main stream media is nothing but a filter to control a narrative and set an agenda. If you think AP, NBC and the rest of the multi billion dollar companies are giving you all the facts then you need to think again. I would recommend the you listen to the No Agenda podcast to start seeing how they work. 100% agree, I am disgusted by the main stream media over here, it's only the likes of Talkradio who at least interview and air the views of other scientists, doctors etc who make very good points to me on this whole covid thing for example. This guy hit's the nail on the head I feel, people need to "stop swallowing this garbage" now.

Are you calling me that mate? Look, I don't make these videos or write the information in the links that I've posted. How reputable are those outlets that you have linked there? How do you/I know that they haven't been bought like the BBC have for example? How about Sky news? Do you trust them? listen at 4.35 minutes.

I've recently fitted two of my power valves with LED H4 and rear light replacements and a couple of XT600s with just the rears from Paul Goff. I fitted the New Daylighter 2 it transforms the front headlight. www.norbsa02.freeuk.com/goffyWhyNotLEDs.htmInteresting link that, I'm wondering how their LED replacement for the main bulb works out beam pattern wise? Will the bike pass an MOT I wonder because the reflector in an old headlight wasn't designed for these.

It seems most media reporting suggests that there is no evidence of voter fraud, some of the courts have said so too What’s the real story, Jim, at least from your perspective? The biggest problem here is the main media I feel, you just won't get a true indication on anything, especially covid or voting related. This guy did do a video showing fake votes, a man with a birth date of 1900, then his death certificate which were dated 1984! Something certainly not right there, so Biden isn't the president yet!......I've been trying to find it again, maybe YouTube have removed? I don't know but this is the guy I'm talking about. Here's another thing that I haven't seen or learnt about from the main media in the UK at least, Portugal had a court case over these PCR tests, hooray for some common sense, they ruled that it is unlawful to quarantine people based solely on a PCR test. www.globalresearch.ca/portuguese-court-rules-pcr-tests-unreliable-unlawful-quarantine-people/5730027

Guess he’s to ‘uppity’ for some people hey. I’m proud that a guy who is a real representation of modern Britain hasn’t been gifted this has fought all the way against barriers and attitudes (some represented on here) and has gone his own way. He’s not been silenced and has a voice, he does it without resorting to cheating or aggression, he has built the team around him and they likewise as all great champions do. He has a social consciousness and is trying to change things for the better (or as some of you would call it ‘virtue signaling’) A lot to like in my book, I have no disagreement with others who prefer certain drivers for there own reasons Jim Clark ( I’m a big fan) senna ( I can appreciate) Can’t quite put my finger on it ! 'A representation of modern Britain'? LOL...Maybe people find him annoying because he's just a f**king knob... pushing his own agenda when it's unnecessary, rather than just getting on with it. But hey ho... I'm sure you'll think know best, Veg.😉 That's what made me Lol too. It's the likes of all these 'snowflake' people who are making modern Britain/the world so bad today. The likes of Hamilton have no integrity in my opinion and like Gary 'Walker's crisp' man, it's all 'do as I say/preach' but don't expect me to actually take in an immigrant, wear a mask, etc etc.

The plates in the clutch chattering it sounds like, isnt that what the old rubber rings were designed to help with? Else its the idler? Am I right in saying that if you fit those rubber rings, you have the hard to find neutral problem once the engine is warm?

Even more nuclear power stations, more wind farms etc. Still not enough. Hydrogen. Why can't anyone see that it's the way to go? Or maybe they can it's just all the back handers they get. Alex I think that Hydrogen could be the way to go to,.....I'm with these guys.

Most of you are old enough to remember the frequent power cuts we had years ago here in the UK? I can imagine that the demand for electricity is far greater now, what with millions more people/homes and all these devices being recharged every day. I dunno, maybe they can keep up with the next level of demand???

Haha, well i owned a 400 wet dream for a while... lol Welldone Alan! at least someone will get what they wanted! Yes very happy Wanted to really get a TD-C but now they are getting very thin on the ground and even really ropey ones that are original are starting to cost about 1k and good spares are not plentiful So got a slightly later TD-J model with just 10k on the clock The only thing I might do is see if I can get some earlier wheels like below as that is the only real visual difference I thought that the front wheel on your one didn't look right to me, the wheels on the silver one above were what I had on my Superdream back in the day, once I traded that in for a 350LC I lost interest in the newer versions of the Honda so didn't know about the wheel differences etc. It was a great bike, being 17 I wanted the biggest looking bike I could have, twin pipes and two pistons helped with that,....mates with 125 LC's were quicker off the line and faster too though.

Isn't their whole 'live' aspect to this a bit confusing/misleading?
From what I've heard, they mean that if a person is in the studio/pushing a button to air Eastenders for example then it's 'live' even though all the actors have gone home.Lol
And how they managed to include other channels like ITV in the first place is beyond me??

I did that years ago. Even blocked all BBC channels on my telly. Was told it's illegal. So even to this day I don't watch the beeb yet have to pay them for the privilege. Totally bonkers. Just let them run ads like everyone else I say. Alex How did you manage to block just those channels? I see that they are really trying to fight back and scare folk into believing that they need to pay up for their licence even if you own ANY device such as a mobile phone for example.

It's funny that for years copper grease were used on such brake parts then all of a sudden that changed, the likes of Edd China say don't use it even though he's showed it's use in many a past Wheeler Dealers etc. I agree about it sludging up though so have switched to this instead: www.eurocarparts.com/p/pagid-ceratec-brake-lube-75ml-grease-526770250

Some people like building bikes more than riding them(maybe for health reasons) or they like a challenge to build a better bike than the last one , i love building bikes but don’t have the room for more than two i would need to move house as ive only got a small garden,so now i have to sit on my hands watching shite on tv I do get where you are coming from, how do you feel when you sell on one of those bike's that you've put your heart and soul into? I don't think that I could do it,.....unless it were a make/model that I had no interest in from the start. Maybe that's the answer? Only restore ones that you know you don't want to keep,...the cost of parts will still add up though.

Oh, I thought you meant in the UK. Maybe I'm just an old moaner, I remember only a few years ago saying that £15k was too much, but now that seems to be where they're at for a nice tidy runner. I can see why people want £20k+, anyone that has restored one must be owed that in parts and restoration costs. Thats the killer right there, Parts prices, Ive restore 5 or 6 of them and the cost is nuts, some of the parts are getting so hard to find, Clutch cases, near impossible to find, stators and stator cases. water pumps and the gear that drives it, Cylinders!! Especially top ones, Cranks are 1000/1400 for a set.... list goes on... decent bodywork and tank that doesn't take half your life to fix... For me the lack of parts is a big issue, you are much better off with a 350LC in that respect. I don't get why some folk keep going through that cycle of restoring machines then selling them on, especially when parts are hard to get hold of in the first place. If the bike were a model that's in my heart, like my 350LC, I'm keeping/riding it! That's the only reason I need spare parts, due to wear & tear.

Perhaps I should elucidate on my comment. I agree Hamilton is a very talented driver but many years ago my godson, then aged 5, was taken by his dad to see Hamilton during an out of season test run. His dad has quite a few motoring connections. Anyway, session over and dad asked Hamilton's press secretary (really? A press secretary??) if he could sign his son's baseball hat as it would make his year. The secretary said of course he would and would be out in about 15 minutes. 3 hours go by and the secretary was walking away to her car and the dad asked what happened? Her reply was Mr Hamilton does NOT sign children's hats. Exit dad and my distraught godson amidst floods of tears. So in my eyes he's a tosser. And a cheat. But aren't they all cheats to some extent?? Yes Senna was ruthless but damn he had some serious talent. And he gave away millions to help orphans. And he leapt out of his car mid race to save another driver. Most modern F1 drivers also say any one of them could win the world title in Hamilton's car...make what you will of that. So I'll stick to Senna being the greatest ever driver. Sorry! Alex I have heard of similar stories sadly, Hamilton is a tosser I agree, he does nothing to come across as being humble shall we say. Why can't they all be like the late Stirling Moss, the way he treated all his fans etc.

I found some steel pipe the right size in the scrap bin Plumbing pipe is often good as well, cheap as chips to buy a 1m length. I always use the old seal to protect the new seal like Howard does. I've used a socket of the same size before, usually a deep one from an impact set, otherwise a bit of steel pipe etc from my stock/scrap bin. Since owning a lathe, making a piece of scrap to fit whatever diameter you need is a breeze now.
