Hi Jake,
I have a couple of 375 kits and both have dt175 pistons, no new liners thou, just overbored and the bottom 5mm or so machined off.. My mate has a set of 375 barrels which use IT125 pistons as i recall and they don't have the machining on the barrels. The carbs i used were the 250 ones with 350 needles and the appropriate jets as this was supposed to perform better.

Some of those swarfega wipes or any other similar ones, they cut through some of that nasty greasy stuff a treat and keep your hands clean too..

the easy way... remove petrol tank, drain the water, remove kickstart, loosen the front wheel and flip bike onto LHS preferably with some cushions off the sofa.. slip the wheel out and change disks. then release clutch cover and try no to get too much residual water into casing before remembering to remove a water pipe or two.. check the clutch operation and the state of the basket, then oil the cable. put it all back together and test the fuel tap while off the bike to see how it flows..
the hard way... as above in the dark outside, ah the good old days haha

Try living in North East Scotland, I live in a town (city) with 30.000 people and a main post office sorting office and buy a belly pan for a 350LC on ebay last week, no "do not post north of Glasgow" warning and guess what, yup, a day later I get an e mail saying "my courier says they do not deliver to your postcode" WTF!!!!! I can get stuff from USA and Japan within 4 days but they won't send from England to fekkin Scotland, they need to sort their sh*t out!! Rant over! Gary Aye, thats a bit of a gripper.. I think some of those companies are a bit scared of heading up the A9 into unknown territory.. is it not possible to arrange your own courier to pick up from seller? I often have to have things sent to my mum's in Fife where i can collect from when i go visiting, which isnt always convenient..

the 250 arm is about an inch shorter than the 465, as my memory serves, i have both sitting in my shed.. about 150 miles away though so nipping round to check isnt quite as easy as i would like it to be.. lol

hi, i had one of those in my lc which was pinched, the arm was removed and binned (one of my pals saw it in the local scrappies but didnt realise it was mine..) there was a frame mod to move the mount forwards a touch and a notch was made on the top brace to clear the chain. i cant remember if it was a standard shock, Mikee might as i got it off of him, but it was about 25 years ago now.. there were sleeves made up to allow the std lc rear spindle to fit also.

I've heard of the Rorschach ink blot test, but not the oil blot test. Is it just me or does the oil on the newspaper the carbs are on look like the top half of a man about to blow his brains out? it does...

Hi, I have a similar 375 and as i recall, (it was about 25 years ago) that i checked the clearances then smeared blue hylomar on the barrels which did the job nicely, i did about a thousand miles like that before my local engineer chap said that the squish was a bit tight for road use and i would be better fitting a gasket, so i did but i do like the idea of O ringing. Luckily for me, i had taken those barrels off before the bike got pinched, when i got it back it was a 250...

If i had the means, i woud get some threaded aluminium inserts welded in. second choice for me would be a pop rivet. Long live Land Rovers! Only problem with that is if you have to replace it you 'll have bits rattling about in your swingarm if you did a squirt of chain lube in through the hole that would gum up the fragments inside.
