Hi Gents.
The project bike i am currently is working on is missing the id model plate that is rivited on the frame, i have seen some around for the 31k model but havnt seen any for the 4L0 - have you?
Also the last digit / number stamped into the frame it self is not so easy to see any more as some jerk in the past tried to remove the rust with a grinder.. Are there anybody who has some stamp letters identic to the original ones or a link to somewhere to find.?
Thanks

I've used the Hycote paint when I rebuilt my africa twin, I've done about 1500 hardish road miles on it, even the paint on the exhaust headers is still looking as good as when it was painted. I had a sticking float on 1 carb which poured petrol everywhere but the paint stood up. The paint sprays well from the can which is always a bonus! I had soda blasted the whole engine, a light etch primer coat and then colour cheers John Sounds like the way i would do it too.. That engine is eyecandy.

I think the Banshee ones looks killer. I ones had them on a Suzuki gt and the spark was better for sure.

Hi fellow members.
I am daniel, 41y from DK. Just bought a 4l0 matching from south germany. Guy said nothing was broken or missing but turns out some of the lugs for holding the side panels have been shaved to create a nacked look.. so now i need some from an old trashed 4l1 or 4l0 frame to refit. So if anybody have a trashed frame i would be glad to buy.. Best regards

Okay, I see. If anybody in here had a photo or maybe some more details about it it must be possible to reconstruct such a set again. Thanks

Hi guys. I am new in this forum, but old in two strokes. I have a motorcycle mechanic magazine somewhere from back in days, where they test a wide range og spanniers on the dyno. 6 on the 125 lc, and same on the 350. On the 125 they also did test micron, and allspeed. There are curves attached for every pipe. And the outcome was that the allspeed was superior. The test is called "spanniers on the dyno" I can look after the magazine if anyone is interested. Regards Daniel
