I'm not a big fan of the RGV back end used in hybrids but that one does look nice.

That was for sale for a while last year, as I recognise the last picture from previous adverts (poss the previous owner's picture) ?. Does look nice though (but don't they all until you get them home and reality sets in what you've really bought)

This one exhibits one of the things I struggled with on my LC2/31K hybrid when mocking it up, the bikini fairing just always looks wrong, its very hard to get it to look like the OEM setup.

Got that to tackle shortly. Bought a nos bracket to start the process, it may help that the billet yokes on mine have the bracket mounts top and bottom I have turned down 9k for mine Not that I thought it wasn't a really good offer, just that it's not for sale. It's lovely, but would mean selling one of my hybrids to buy it, so I will keep on dreaming !! Dusty

Hi Steve, did you buy that bracket that finished a couple of days ago on eBay? nice and new... I too want to have the fairing, but wonder how to make it look right, maybe its not so bad with std bars mounted on the top yoke.

I think that if the fairing could be mounted so its bottom edge was parallel to the top of the rear tail section it would help .. just my 2ps worth , I have no idea if it is practical or not.

36mm carbs on an otherwise standard motor? Too big me thinks. That was my thought too, but would be interested to hear from someone with experience of this. We all recognise that larger carbs benefit a tuned motor, but is there any advantage on a standard motor (even with expansions)? I can instantly think of one huge disadvantage - just watch that fuel level in your tank drop! For what it's worth, the bike does nothing for me at all (but then I'm not into hugely modified hybrids with upside-down forks, etc.) Each to their own and all that.

I think that if the fairing could be mounted so its bottom edge was parallel to the top of the rear tail section it would help .. just my 2ps worth , I have no idea if it is practical or not. The bracket I used went between the lower bolts and the top sat close to the top triple, but the issue was that it sat canted forwards, which means the headlight is aiming at the ground so not ideal. I didnt mess with it too much as I wasnt wholly sold on the concept in the end, my plans going elsewhere in the end. I do think you can get it right, but its going to take some work to get the mounts in line and not look like its jutting out, the thicker forks tops and the triples set up doesnt help is all im saying, i reckon if you organise brackets in mock up and weld (or design them like in a billet setup) them into the scheme you'll be fine. 9k... about what I was once offered for my 421LC. Im afraid to add up the costs, but I wouldnt be surprised if it cost more to build lol I know you dont get it back, but its not a compelling enough offer if i was selling, which like you Steve, im not.
