Hi all, please could somebody give an opinion on what would be the best ignition coils for a RD350 YPVS 31K? I've been looking at Dynatek stuff, but not sure if anything better?
For any recommendation, please could you advise appropriate part number and whether any mods required in fitting (will fit to standard mounting or not?)
Many thanks Steve

Hi Norbo sells Banshee coils in his online shop. Lots of guys use them and notice an improvement when fitted. Probably your cheapest option too. Little wiring mod needed and 2 brackets to fit, which Norbo also sells. This is on an Lc; 20171108_161726 by David Miller, on Flickr Or you can go with Dyna. You'll need to buy leads as well and get them crimped properly, and again, fitted to an Lc; 20150616_102700 by David Miller, on Flickr You'll end up paying twice as much for the Dyna set up though. Are you getting a better spark because these have two separate coils compared to the original Yamaha one, that has one??
Or am I missing something else??

More to the fact that its a newer coil, there is a better spark, easier starting, feels crisper, and mutts did some testing where they produced a small power increase.

I ordered some Dyna this morning along with some Taylor HT leads. Looking forward to feeling the difference.

I think the Banshee ones looks killer. I ones had them on a Suzuki gt and the spark was better for sure.
