The procket carrier is a really simple and easy job. I used the chuck in revers to clamp the sprocket from inside the bearing face if that makes sense. I've had the same problem with the wheel. Uses a 20mm axle and the 3ma is a 15mm so made the top hat washers to fix that. The smallest engineering firms are always the best

Little update, made a caliper hanger for the rear today. Not much space using the MV caliper so i bought some ultra low profile titanium disc bolts. Had to increase the disc holes to 10mm for the shoulder to sit correctly. Also got this 8mm ally plate for a tenner. Result All marked out ready Test fit Just need to finish my torx arm now Went and MOT'd this aswell. Sailed through

So after an awful start to the day after watching the GP I was put off going out for a spin so headed for the garage instead to have a play with the bits and pieces I bought at the Stafford show last weekend. As the bike is still away having its pipes made i cracked on with some smaller bits. Found a nice tidy radiator with minmum damage to the cooling fins, still a few I needed to straighten but its looking like this now. Need to get it dipped to remove the paint then its going gloss black. One job done, next was onto the uncut subframe I managed to find for a tenner it was a good buy but someone had obviously thought about it the backed out of the idea of cutting it down. I made a slug to sit across the 2 pieces which hadn’t been fully cut but would of obviously been week, cleaned up the remaining powder coating and set to work welding it up. All welded up, you can see the wall thickness is a little more with the insert in place. A lick of paint for now, then it’ll be off for coating with the rest of the stuff Finally managed to get hold of one. Next on the list is making these work That’s all for now

sean, looking nice !we have a radiator manufacturing company close to hand, i was thinking of poping in and asking if they can re-fin a rad, im in the same position as you, the rads in good shape but i have a little clump of stone hits that have flattened out the fins, but a fine screwdriver / feeler guage wont put em right,.......i know its there !, ill keep you posted if they can sort it .

Disc bolts are R6 items Here we go again then. After picking up my new lathe last week ive cracked on with a couple of small bits and pieces ive been meaning to do. Made a new gear knob for a friends car What could these be for? To fit my new brake and gear levers to the LC plates. Im not sure what it is but I don’t want to replace these. Like indicators and clocks the standard items just suit an LC special in my eyes. The flash has picked up some lines in the machining, how ever you can’t feel these. They will all be mirror polished anyway My new 1.5hp polishing motor got delivered today. Happy days That’s it for now

Had a couple of hours spare this afternoon so i started working on some new back plates for the rear sets. Turned up the mounts on my lathe allows the bolts so sit flush, they weren't done up in the picks Mild steel for mock ups, need to mod the rear brake lever to work how i want it but you'll get the idea. A really quick mock up i must point out as you can see by the state of them. I will make them in stainless, tig them then mirror polish them once im happy with it
