The description is due to an online translation for sure. The Japanese often have phrases like this when converted like that.
Another is the bit in the description where it says "Please refrain from the tender of nervous one.' This is very typical of yahoo.jp listings and means 'dont buy if you wanted nos and new parts, this is a used item'. The Japanese are quite particular when selling things not to build up expectation and often parts are nicer than they say in the ads. They dont want to cause offence. Sadly in Aus that part would have 'Perfect condition, as new : would suit new parts buyers' written in it.... sigh.

Oh god "Needs 2k spent to finish engine" "No cranks, barrels, gearbox" Well the rebuild cost of a complete motor I'd say is 2k. What about the other 2k to buy the missing engine parts Steve

What about the other 2k to buy the missing engine parts Steve Cranks are roughly a grand, cylinders are easily a grand, Heads 400, gearbox 500, clutch 250, gaskets (OEM head gaskets etc) 200, Rebore with pistons 350/450 depending on pistons, Powervalves 250 and thats if you can find the parts, They just dont come up that often.....
Oh, Clutch cover and water pump if they are missing, now they are a bitch to find

Like really !!! I bought a nice black one from Norbo last week for £25 But the one you’ve bought is a brand new exact replica, powder coated; not an OEM one that would need re-finishing at extra cost for double the price. Yes, unfortunately people don’t realise what’s actually available for our bikes, and think anything there sitting on that came of an RD is gold. Jon

Mint. Think I read about that bike being restored somewhere. Seen what Fizzies go for? Fair price if you really want one.

Bargain. Buy it. Someone will look fantastic (fat, old balding c**t with a beer gut) riding it. And you can admire every glance of yourself in shop windows crucifying the wheezing 30mph speeder... Yes its relatively rare but so is Herpes.. thankfully.

The thing is, the father and son restored the bike together with the aim of the son riding it aged 16. Apparently a great bonding session for both of them and an immaculate bike.

Alex Never understood what a bonding session is... me and my boy don't need no bonding sessions we've been mates all his life. Which is surprising considering what a***holes teenagers can be.

Pay £1500 and hey presto... You've been framed! And no £250 Wont be long for this to become the going rate. It's only a couple of weeks wages for many... Or a lot less than a couple of weeks wages...
