wow, even in Sydney its not yet quite hit 400 quid ($800) to blast n powder a frame, tho it is getting there sadly.
I saw a guy on Fb a while back selling some parts he bought 'nos'. One was a part he said that he bought all the way from japan for 200 quid and he 'wanted only his money back' on it. Er, well... Maybe he did pay that, but just cos he is stupid doesnt mean the next buyer needs to be. The part was still available from Yamaha for under 50quid... sigh. Of course the Fbers were all over it saying what a bargain it was and how rare... sigh.

Shame it isn't the offest key type. But I realise that that is the now the genuine replacement offered by Yamaha...

yes bought plenty of things from him. Funny guy to deal with on email/ebay etc these days. He used to be great doing deals and chatty, but like all these sellers (Asian and Greek etc) he became money grabbing and harder to deal with over time. The bargains dried up as these sellers now just minimally undercut the other OEM suppliers when before they were just pleased to sell the stuff they bought for cents in the dollar from the local dealers warehouses for a few bucks. Perhaps they went from doing it as a sideline to doing it full time and needed to fund for their kids private schooling and the mortgage on the mansion(s), who knows?

I'll keep that in mind if I order from him. I guess as parts become harder to find they are willing to hold out for top dollar.

Agree with what was said about the Malaysian eBay guy
Used to message you after you had bought something asking if you wanted anything else then do a good deal
Last time was over a year ago. Bought one thing and he messaged me as usual. I asked for a gen fuel tap and an LC throttle cable and he said £100 - bargain
A few months ago I bought some base gaskets, he messaged and I asked him for a ypvs head gasket (he sells them on ebay posted for £40)
He wanted £40 despite no eBay fees or post so I declined

Yeah! A bit OTT indeed. Give Dejan a shout, he usually has a set of cases for sale. Realistically priced as well.

331770761029 Would you pay 187 quid for this Its appeared on fleabay down under, have a look at the other items too under RZ350 Daylight flaming robbery Didn’t see this earlier, but if it was £187 then they’ve put the price up to £194.03. Jon
