Wouldn’t use westcountry ever again a couple of years ago my Lc just wouldn’t start then when it did it would stop within 5 miles then it’s a push home . I’m shit with electrics so I had different people look over the course of a couple of years . One guy said I think you should get the stator checked out , so off it went to westcountry they said it wasn’t right so I was welled chuffed with that , back it came looking good ,fitted back on still the bloody same ! 🤬 left it another year then spoke to truibrit (dave on here) he told me too bring it up to him ,I told him my problems . So guest what you got it the stator was fooked, now got electronic ignition fitted . Thanks to dave the top bloke he is 👍as for westcountry steer well clear there fooking idiots

Got a new Vivaro 2 yrs ago, massive saving on RRP. No probs with it. Was going for a Transit Custom or VW, until I had a look at Vivaros..... If you listened to everyone with tales of woe...you would never buy anything. No vehicle seems to evade it. very true steve its paying the vat that kills it

Hi, I drive custom as work van, not restricted- good top end not much bottom end without revving it. the security is lousy on them you can buy skeleton key off the bay and they open the drivers door. I prefer vws but for the price theyre ok... a lad i know has got a vw transporter & he hates it says it burns oil like a boiler also just had a new gearbox now even done 100k yet he rekons only good thing with them is they hold there money but then you pay top dollar for them

I run custom limiteds as company vans which are changed every two years. Excellent vans to drive , a few niggling faults which are sorted under warranty with no bother but absolutely shocking “security “ , budget for at least £500 to change the door lock ( the original can be opened in seconds with a screwdriver ) fit loom guards to the cab doors and deadlocks to the rear and side doors. David i need to make up my mind as the 17 are euro 6 2.0 engines which ive heard have gotbig injector problems as for security my mk7 the same ive uprated the locks & put alarm on i know a few people who there customs broke into there dead easy to get into
