Andy, out of interest were there very small bubbles in the powdercoat? I had a set done and there were only a few bubbles, but disappointing none the less. Might also decide to paint my next set. Bike is looking great Andy. Can't help but notice you have one of those precision hammers in most of your rebuild pics. The best item for fine adjustment IMHO lol! Keep it up buddy and can't wait to see it finished. Totally agree, great tool,couldn't live without my 1/4 drive set

honed the barrels and fitted new rings last week complete with the expanding rings, the old ones where intact, hopefully have the engine running in two weeks, is this going to be an issue, cheers andy

20180219_173930 by andrew mcgarvey, on Flickr stripped the barrels and pistons, big ends and mains are good, barrels are standard 64mm, slight glazing on the bore as you would expect
