defo no fairing Dusty, was thinking of grafting a set of r6 clocks on her, would this cause a problem with the rev counter, going from a 4 cyl to a twin? cheers andy

Not sure regarding electrics, but I think the R6 route has been followed before, and I'm sure any experience will be shared with you. Lots of guys use digi set ups -Koso and the like, very successfully, so I'm thinking it's not too difficult. I love the early pv's, and think the Rgv running gear really suits them. Look forward to your progress Dusty

This is looking exciting, really like the red with speedblocks paint, are you keeping that?

in the process of making a seat, some small bits of welding still needed,i will get more pics of the frame before i grind the welds, the engine was sound, ran sweet as, was thinking of carb rebuild and decoke, spread the cost of the build by doing the engine next winter, so i can get out to play asap, thoughts and advice would be much appreciated

Id use R1 if you like those, but these days not a cheap solution like Koso etc are. This is a really good thread: www.rzrd500.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1289&hilit=howto

No worries, If you want a full set of these I have everything needed to make them work on our bikes but I never found a project I wanted use them on. I did advertise the setup for a while on the RDRZ500 forum but the ad dropped off over time. I might still sell it if youre keen' setup comes with correct speedo healer (+2 looms), rev counter 'healer', R1 temp sender, nice set of 2000 R1 clocks and same model R1 wiring cut down and ready to fit etc. Drop me a message if youre keen.
