It was in Merseyside then Manchester then back to Ormskirk and then the search goes blank...

XRF 400X 350LC last taxed in 1991 and listed as white. Stoke on Trent area, the last time I saw it a lad had taken the swarbricks off for standard pipes.
Likewise I'd buy this bike back in a heartbeat if it's still out there!
Originally it was Roberts yellow with a Harris Hawk full fairing...

Anyone know the whereabouts of H840FSB (F2 YPVS), bought for me new as a present back in 91, then a few years later, I traded it in for an RGV250N and it went to a guy who worked at Specials in Glasgow.
Hasn't been taxed in a long time, so maybe away to the LC graveyard.
Just wondering if it's lurking unloved in anyone's garage.

just found out you can log on to dvla reg check for free and find out if your old bike is taxed and has a mot that way you will know if its still on the road  I just logged on and found out my old 250e has not had any tax since about 1990 it isn't looking good for the old girl  |

C432ODP
Bought at about a year old in Luton, my only transport for a couple of years, I loved this bike but ended up being unfaithful to it with a RD 500.
Maybe one day we will be re united.

![]() This was also my only transport for a year or two, I cleaned it a lot! Seized on me at an indicated 140. Got a second hand bottom end from local free ads (remember them?) and had it back on the road in a weekend. B989XKK Had a sordid past too, was a Yamaha test bike that was borrowed by Club international magazine for some interesting pics  I had the mag with the bike, passed it on when I sold it to big dealer in Luton. wonder if the current owner knows this  |

Black lid, possibly a Nolan...the dealer would have been Coburn and Hughes? |

You are right about the dealer, but I used to have a Freddie spencer lid and hoon about in the north Herts area
Did see a girl in MK for a short while though........didn't cut you up or anything did I?

Another F2 YPVS. (C708JVS) owned it in Surrey in 1988-89. Bought from a bloke in Sutton who bought an RD 500 in black and red.

The guy I sold it too think the guy who bought it was from down south somewhere. still on the road taxed and tested somewhere. thanks gaz Its been over two years since I posted in the bikes reunited section and over 10 year since I have been looking for it. keep looking everybody I finally got my first lc back a few months ago I found it on ebay the registration was covered up but by doing a check on dvla I knew it was registered 1/8/1980 and was now registered yellow. So when I saw it for sale I was sure it was my old one so I asked the seller the reg number and it was so I hit the buy it now straight away. It was more that it was worth really but priceless to me. 475 mile round trip to collect it and its back home with me. keep looking for your old bikes this is my second one I have found I bought my old x7 back in 2010  |
