HFR 955S is my old RD400E, white and red.
I bought it when it was just less than a year old in 1979. Sold it in 1980 for a Kawa Z650 and regretted it. Then the LCs came out and when I was considering getting one, a crash, a girl friend and buying a 3ltr Capri all conspired against me and I didn't get another bike until 5 years ago.
It's been missing in action for a few years then it was registered again last year so it's alive. I hope it's back to original, I loved that bike.

I had a red and white 350f2 G95BLR i did see it a couple of times in about 2004ish and it was still mint.I still have reciept £2600 otr.I have couple of photos and a court summonds!

so you got it back then, you must be over the moon Yeah, found the rolling chassis already with the rgv gear on ebay in 2009 so got in touch and did a deal. Bloke had built it as a hybrid but couldn't get what he wanted for it so broke it. Well chuffed ;D Steve |

Sometimes you do get lucky. Years ago I had an Aprilia AF1 Futura which I traded in for another bike in 1993. It turned up on Ebay in 2008 (and I bought it back), so always worth keeping an eye out.

i had a gpx600 which i sold in 92 i think it was with 67k on the clocks,it was up for sale on bay last year with 38k genuine miles on it!!!! needless to say i didnt bid.i did ask seller how the mileage managed to halve in 19yrs,but it never made it to the listing.hmmmm

had close to 50 bikes in my time but i,ll just list the rd,s 1 x7.
first ever lc was a 350 in hb international colours NCV 534X. traded that and some cash for a converted 250 in white with 375 bore and powerjet carbs, allspeeds/k&n,s A995OTT. had a project 250 at same time but can,t recall the reg number. had an x7 which i owned twice GTA572V. then an old rd350b NKE227P. in the last 7 years i,ve owned.
matching number 250lc NTT662W bought from a guy in plymouth, bought a 350 running chassis from a guy in cheshire iirc and put the 250 motor into it GBK341X sold both parts to a guy in isles of scilly who used to be on the alek hayes rd forum (possible a simon??). bought a white/blue matching number 350 from bicester OAW715X done almost complete restore then sold to a guy from luton (stan from other rd forum) who then passed it onto someone possibly essex /surrey. then white/red matching number 350 from near donington YBM500X that was in my eyes the best 1 i,d seen sold 2 years ago to a guy in surrey (wish i bloody hadn,t ). if anyone has or know of these drop me a line. i,ll get some pics up.

there nice. are they fzr wheels in the 350? wish i,d kept them all to be honest. our old 250 and the other chassis were meant to go to isles of scilly but they went into storage somewhere in falmouth and i lost contact with the guy. they could still be there!!

Yea fzr600 front end and rear swing arm welded to lc top section of swingarm! Soon to have a wheel change though something a bit different.....watch this space!

hi all im new on here trying to find my old 125lc mk1 that i owned in the 80s it was red and white then but on the dvla website said it is black now not been taxed for some time try and find some pics and post any help would be great reg no is b 60 beg would be good to find it again cheers richard
