The ignition is another part to go on the Shambits list of parts that aren't quite right !! You might be able to peel your decal off and restick it, but I bought a new one anyway.

Now this switch decal has me thinking
Do you think it's been assembled wrong
Usually there are 2 screws holding the barrel onto the base
If you remove them, rotate 180 degrees (you will have to take the switch gubbins out too) and refit is it then correct and working?

Its sealed as far as I can see. Offset bracket is permanently fixed to the switch body so can only go on one way to match the fixing holes on the back plate. So can only go on in an upside down postion π

I have to say I actually prefer the cutout design on your card mock ups.
Why not get all three designs done at that price and decide later?

I agree on cut out versions. It would pick up on the cut outs in your footrest plates too, keeping a "theme". Plus they look more trick, and bespokeπ

I made my brackets from 3mm aluminium plate. I found this thick enough for my use.
5mm plate might stick out like a sore thumb where it connect to the fork fittings.

Hi Chris, a no brainer for me- the cut out brackets look top draw. Your "CAD" design looks way better than those black curved horrors
