Sponsor : " don't put a sticker there, it'll never be seen".. Iconic photo taken by by Don Morley of Dennis Ireland, it was taken at a photo shoot at Brands Hatch. The throttle stuck up open, you can see his right hand with the throttle closed! Don Morley was lying on his side taking this shot of racer Dennis Ireland on his RG500 Suzuki. Unfortunately the throttles stuck wide open, the machine went out of control just a split second after Morley clicked the button. Don suffered a broken leg, Ireland more serious injuries, spending five months in hospital, having eleven operations on leg, ankle foot and tendons. My mate Robbie Silverster owns this bike. He bought it from "Derry's Racing", and we bought two other "special bikes". It's also the bike that won the Belgian 500cc GP at Spa-Francorchamps in 1979. Here it is last year just being loaded into the truck to go back to Spa-Francorchamps for the Bikers Classic. On the red carpet back at Spa-Francorchamps last year for the first time in 40 years. Best regards Johnny C.

That is very nice indeed. Sounds magic. 3 into 1 is different and I have always been unsure of 2/1 3/1 etc on 2 strokes and how they affect the motor breathing. Still think 3 chambers look the dogs on those Kawas.

Wow!!! ๐ฎ Is that 3 x 125 engines grafted in there in some bonkers sort of w6 configuration? Amazing engineering meets Frankenstein. Iโll bet that sounds wicked ๐ Anymore info on this one Dusty?

Only other info is they are Benelli engines. I did google the bike but not much info, but a couple of pics of the other side of the bike.

The golden age of appalling leathers gloves and boots. Fieldsheer worms anyone? Schwantzs boots ๐ And the great days of battling strokers.

Iโve never noticed this before on the Kar design pictures, that there is no rear hanger on the exhaust to mount up to the footpeg hangers. Jon
