could not resist putting the pipes on, but have always had a problem with the flange blowing. Having been asking if anyone knows best thing to do, think i am going to try with out the inner gasket, might try and make something so does not blow. if i keep the inner gasket , i need to put 3 outer gaskets on, do not really want to do that thou. the above pic shows how flange sits in the pipe, have looked at gibsons and they are exactly te same. we now have power but not to all other parts yet !

Not had much chance to get in the shed this week, grabbed a few hours this afternoon, bodywork, exhausts off, drain all fluids. few NOS already on the shelf Can't beat having a stash of NOS parts, I love that they are gonna fit and there isn't any dirt to clean up, if it was possible I'd love to build a complete bike from NOS, lol

Cheers Sean G I used Plasticote BBQ paint from Wilkos, head and barrels were given about 6 coats left to dry off over night then put in the oven while the Mrs was out for a about 3/4 hour on gas mark 4 . Then left in oven to cool off, just remember to take out the oven before the Mrs comes home
