Some goods tip there for my own rebuild. That plastic spray looks great, will give that a go.
I've polished my foot hangers by hand, at lot of work but quite rewarding. Scotchbrite and hard labour! Thinking about doing the forks too by hand. Where did you get yours done and what was cost?

I left the tape on my barrels and head for too long and took me a while to find a way to clean off the adhesive. A spray of GT85 (similar to WD40?) did the trick though. Just leave it for a min or 2 and wipe off with a clean cloth.

Thanks, difference between mine and yours is that your still taking yours to bits where as mine came in 5 box's of bits, most of which are n ow scrap !! however enjoying the challenge, good lock with your rebuild, hope you don't find too many gremlims that need to be sorted

Any more updates on this one ? Hiya, just doing all the boring bits at the moment, retapping all threads on powder coated parts and making sure all bolts can fit through all powder coated parts. The plating was done by Tony at ajsvapourclean.com/ used him a few times now and really happy with the results. My crank cases and barrels are being done some where else once they are back shall post some pics.
