Nice pictures, which castle is it in the background? Andy. Its carrickfergus castle. I've just come back from there, stopped in the Premier inn round the back! Thought it looked familiar. Andy. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Ive had a great couple of days with the LC, was out riding all day Sunday on it and this evening took it over to the Wellingboro for the RGS dyno evening, was a nice meet up anyway, good food van and mix of bikes. My LC made a shade over 51RWHP on the dyno, only differing from stock with the Nospeeds, airbox mods with carbs jetted to suit by Dave and Vape PowerDynamo set up again at Daves..IIRC back in 2018 it made 47RWHP at Daves. Loving having it on the road again thats for sure. The meet is on first Monday of the month if anyone fancies meeting up . ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53766360467_5048c2675c_z.jpg) ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53767462493_9908ff67a1_z.jpg) ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53767272001_fb587848bd_z.jpg)

Fitted a new back tyre to the 350LC , actually wore out a BT46 in about 2 1/2 years and 3,000 miles.
As its got a JMC arm an exhaust has to come off to get the eccentric adjuster out, with the YPVS31K pipes that where fitted, anyway.
Noticed that the pipe was rattling, broken up inside, took baffle out and it still rattled.
Took other side off, same.
There is a lot of vibration through the passenger footrests which send Mrs DougW`s feet to sleep , rattling pipes explain it.
So original , slightly tatty , large can Microns the bike came with fitted instead. Revs a lot better, but one wheeley later one of the pipes popped out of the header spigot.
This is because I couldn`t find the original 4 springs so had used two slightly too long old springs off one of the MX bikes.
Steady ride home after waiting for pie to cool down a bit and re-fit it to spigot.
New springs ordered !

Drained the tank and removed the seat and tank on the seized white RZ350. Normal life responsibilities have limited my play time to nearly non-existent for the moment. I hope to get the coolant and transmission drained in the next week and get the head off so I can inspect the damage and hopefully figure out a way to get the cylinder off. I am contemplating a 385 stroker motor utilizing the power valve cylinders for one or both of my blown up RZs. (Depending on the extent of the damage) Does this modification affect durability?

Fitted ignitech but servo does not sweep when ignition is turned on, I want std settings but I’m not familiar with the programming. Does anyone know what the settings should be for it? ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240616/9f00a0d4d67871e98bd403b6e2c9cfb5.jpg)

It was a bit of a while ago, but I managed to get my rear sets and control levers 3D scanned in preparation for when it does go pear shaped on the track. ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53794956708_6cecfca1d8_b.jpg) He also designed some moulds to make compressed carbon fibre versions. I’m not sure about this. I think I prefer aluminium versions. ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53794738621_7de2de4719_b.jpg)

I visited tezrhc today. He assisted in the drilling of my needle valve seats on his lathe :-) Gone up from 2.5mm hole to 2.8mm to match the previous Tourmax YPVS needle valve seats. Vacuum tested and all sealing up perfectly :-) I vacuum tested some standard Tourmax 4L0 needle valves (metal tips) and seats and found they don't seal very well at all!

Funny that, yesterday I tried the Tourmax needle valves on my LC and found the same! Had a long ride on my tuned F1 today, which was just fantastic. I had time to try different ignition and PV maps in the Ignitech, all good fun. Also met up with a mate who I used to ride with 30 years ago. He had a 4L1 back then and has only had diesels since. He absolutely loved the F1, couldn't get him off it.

Cheers for the Ignitech info, i did get up to the shed to have a quick look, i put your program in and it did work. I had to put % icon on and it does a sweep when ignition is turned on.

Went out for a ride with my mate Simon on our LCs. Ended up at the Food Stop Cafe after going to Shrewsbury.
Saw another Mars bar at the cafe. It had RGV front and back.

Well it wasn’t quite today, but roughly a month ago Kees and I entered the local Rockanje Classic TT. It is a demo class, it is very local approximately 3 kilometres away and Kees was invited to ride the Bakker 443 bike and me on my 400cc bike. ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53805750052_6720757cda_b.jpg) You might of noticed it is a bit wet in the paddock area. Luckily we managed to set up camp on the high ground. Most people were settled and I noticed a car and trailer driving around trying to find a place. I felt a bit sorry for them so I moved my trailer and van which was also dry to give them a place. This meant it was a bit awkward to get out the van without getting wet feet. Luckily the young lads did the right thing and let the old fart off the hook when it came to parking (old fart in top picture) ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53805750062_df75bef877_b.jpg)
In the afternoon the track did dry out enough for everyone to ride. I told Kees he could not ride the Bakker 443 because there is a section of the circuit that runs over cobblestone. This section was still damp and this is tricky at the best of times and I didn’t want using the Bakker bike on it. I gave him my bike to ride and sat this one out. ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53806684901_b9a09f9cd4_b.jpg) A very good friend turned up who makes stuff for me or lets me use his lathe or milling machine. He came with a mate just to show him the Bakker bike. The bike got started for him to show his mate. Keeping him enthusiastic means more help if I need it. ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53805750002_0e420a5ff4_b.jpg)
The RD LC’s always get more attention than the Bakker bike. Most people like to come over and tell that they had one when they were younger or wanted one but couldn’t afford one.

I tried the longer end cans off my air cooled to see how much quieter it would make the LC as it's so loud and offensive!! the longer cans still look nice and they softened the sound lots it's lost the loud cackle sound ,I'm now going to make some longer cans for it .👍 ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240623/67d988a559f788af78b1302f42ecb26c.jpg) ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240623/81ac5f2342b6575f5ef7dc1b3afaa98f.jpg)

..you could aesthetically put another 2 to 3 inches on those cans and still look good.
