Stripped the head and barrels off my 350 4LO Ready to lift bottom end out now for a full rebuild ! 🤞

Beautiful job on the pipes Tobyjugs, may i ask whose work? Mouse The pipes were made by PS Tuning, The pipe plan came from Kenny. I asked Piet for compactness as you won't see them when the fairing is in place. Piet is well known for very good 50 cc race and sprint pipes. I asked Kenny for a plan and asked Piet gingerly if he would make them to that spec. Tuners are a rare and delicate species and have to be handled with respect!!!

I sent my bike away to get some pipes made. I think i sent it to the snake charmer by accident. Well he certainly did charm them

took the 392 down to nk racing for some brake caliper adaptor brackets forgot the new calipers post on monday

Hi ive managed to get the brake calipers apart and get the very stuck pistons out.Also got the discs off the wheels with some extreme violence(from previous butchery).

first step of rebuild: after giving the cases (another because I couldn't remember if I already did it) good bath and blow out, installed sump plug with new washer....was going to launch into the rest of it....but think I should get the gearshift bush installed while it's in pieces...it's a struggle because part of me says it should be untouched, all original, nothing changed or added..yet I've already got it rebored, got new Mikata's and a PJME crank on the shelf AND I've (poorly) repainted it.... and I wonder why I can't get on with anyone but the dog.

Thought i would make another +4 4LO crank but when i opened up the donor crank i found the center pin was an integral part of the inside crank webb. Bugger!!! Oh well plan B Left is +4 crank webb right is 4LO crank webb with removable center pin.

Finished painting rg engine ready to put together after two crank rebuilds and a big bore kit ,pockets now empty !!and that’s only half the engine done!,

Popped it outside to get it started and warmed through as we do every month. Ten minutes later and it's ticking over nicely .. noticed water dripping from somewhere behind the radiator Looks like the head gasket might need changing as the water was coming from the header tank unfortunately. With only 109 miles put on the clock over the last five years it could well be time for a new owner come springtime. By far the nicest model 350 YPVS, water leak or not
