Wasn't necessarily yesterday, but returned on Sunday from 701 mile 3 day trip with North East RD Owners Club to Oban (from Billingham). Couple of minor elec issues with the amount of rain we had, but nothing to stop the fun. Had a brill weekend ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) 2018-09-18_12-28-19

Last ride of 2018 on the 500 today, met up with Mike (aka Motomovers) on his NS400 , gave the bikes a good thrashing on the way home, had a joyful 900 miles out of the RD this Summer, shes been a pleasure. ![](https://thumbsnap.com/s/u5OuN2iC.jpg)

rebuilt the forks....that sounds too grand...ok then....cleaned them up a bit and put new seals in....all done...cept for adding the oil which reminded me when I put new gaiters on my SS50 and found....by jaysus...there were'nt filt to the top!....so I fixed that. was an alternate why to find out the front wheel was buckled on a disturbingly rough ride into town. ![](https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-sp5qW2p/0/34833cc0/X2/i-sp5qW2p-X2.jpg)

Spent a brisk 5 mins putting in my refurbed fuse box.
Oh, and some fuses.
Then sat down and had a coffee and stared at her for a while. A peaceful moment.

Tried plastic welding on the side panels and seat unit today. Never done it before but wow it sure works and is easy as falling off a horse. Used old cable tie ends and just got to it. Panels all very strong now and ready for a re-paint.
