WOW I guess you may be giving your 'painter' a call in the near future!! On the plus side it would make a cool picture if framed and hung in your garage fella

Why did it do that? Has it just come back from the painters or is it a couple of years old?

That is utterly bizarre! It's like it got scared and shed it's skin. Did it run under a bush afterwards?

Crabs do this. . . .then come out twice as big. Does your fuel tank now have 5 gallon capacity?

Just leave it for a bit, it might grow back a candy blue or Kenny Rogers.

like peeling an orange wot caused it do you know just strange int it looks like its been vinyl wrapped ive seen a fair bit of taxis in our area have the bonnet and boot painted a different colour to the rest of the car and they have em done in vinyl so it just peels off thats wot it reminds me of still at least you dont have to rub it dopwn for your repaint hows the rest of the paint

ive seen this before. im pretty confident its 1 of 3 things. 1)wet on wet primer that was left too long before putting base coat on 2)'octoral' base coat (famous for this when it was a new brand on the market 3)or water base base coat that had only just skinned over before the laquer was applied. shame as it looked nice
