Ok so I'm going to rebuild my matching numbers UK Mk2 1GM, its not going to be straight forward because I think the sub frame is bent. I have also stupidly lost a broken off engine mounting lug so will have to make one up and weld it in place. Bent? Stay tuned to this thread to see the build unfold, should be interesting

Why not mellow It needs saving mate Taking frame into college tomorrow to fabricate engine mount. Will see if my teacher has any ideas of straightening the frame. Might have to resort to ye olde crowbar or 2 x 4 ;D Remember typer's bike? rdlccrazy.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=80lc125lcchat&thread=3544&page=1This is exactly how I want mine to look when done but with working YPVS, rad cover, belly ban and headlight fairing. As well as a few other tweaks of course Adam

Yeah I know mate its very nice, cheeky lightened fly pic too White and red Mk2 are the best colours by far, classic yam. Looks mint with gold wheels too, its like a mini RZV500 ;D I might powder coat my spare wheels in Mk3 gold, see what they look like on Going to get expensive this rebuild I can tell but I don't care cause if I got a bigger bike I would likely crash and burn if not caught for speeding first ;D Besides insurance is through the roof, not viable when I have car insurance to buy too I will stick to my little 125's for now and make it as smart and reliable as I can for now. Then once I'm working I will start to save for my F2 do my test and return the 125 to standard Mk2 spec Updates soon

Update On the bench in the shop, marked out a new lug with crank cases fitted. MIGed it in place and jobs a good 'en, cases are a good fit Next job is to get the frame jigged because the sub frame is twisted. Robbo, if you could give me the name and contact number of the guy you use that would be awesome After that its off to the powder coaters Updates as and when, Adam.
