Since the restore in June 2007, i have made a few alterations to the lc, these include: 1. Powder coated top yoke with yamaha symbol engraved yoke bolt. 2. powder coated gear linkage 3. primed and resprayed brake calliper 4. swapped pipe for my allspeed 5. removed mirrors (look's better in my opinion + less wind resistance ;D) 6. primed and resprayed rotor cover and oil pump cover 7. Swapped carb to DT carb body (fitted my internals) and blanked off coolant hoses from head 8. Polished mudguard plate. 9. Polished powervalve end caps 10.Added go faster "LC Racing decals to wheels! ;D 11.V Force reed block added + moderate ported barrel Theres still the odd little jobs i would like to do to it (e.g - add a little more stainless here and there) However don't want to spend to much more on it, i'm looking to save up to pass my test and buy a 250lc (getting left behind all the time by ad's! lol ) Any comment's welcome, (i.e on how i could make further improvements, what's not so good, etc) Thanks for looking & enjoy the pics.

Thanks. Yeah couldn't agree more with the L plates, looking to re take test again when i have the funds. I'm not a big fan personally of the belly pan and front fairing as think they look more aggresive without! ;D But see where your coming from if being standard was on the cards. The YPVS, i have tried in the past to get working, time and time again but with no joy I have recently managed to get the bike running really well, with a good carb set up, and so pulls really well now bottom end and a lot easier to live with!, so i'm considering just waiting until i get a 250lc for more power. Recently just seen a complete YPVS kit specially for the mk3 on ebay however very expensive (starting bid £85) By looking at it the connectors look slighlty different on the motor and controller compared to my 350 ypvs f2 kit, could be something to do with why i'm having trouble to get mine to work properly.

(shorter con rod), i think it was only by a couple of mm or something daft UNDERSTATEMENT of the year try 5mm yep the con-rod on the mk3 is 5mm longer than mk1+2, so if you want to put a mk3 barrel on you need the mk3 con-rod as well. i think he means the servo and computer box the valve is already there just pegged in one position.

You did that in style didn't you! Was it running lean/hot? Got a mk2 head if you're looking for one, from memory it's got a few detination marks, and has been skimmed though!
Good luck
