Trial fit of RGV250 rearsets and they fit fine with a wee bracket to mount on frame as holes are further apart than on the rearsets. They'll work fine. Just need to fit LC gear shaft knuckle to rgv rod, get all powdercoated black.

Trial fit of the cheapo headlight to the headlamp brackets. Looks ok to me. Just need to get the brackets powdercoated.

Its looking sweet. In my opinion the single headlight looks much nicer than the twins that were pictured earlier on.
Have you changed the colour of the bodywork for good, or is that just a temporary tank? I thought the black frame/forks/swinger/wheels etc with silver bodywork looked really smart.
Either way looking dead smart - and i still love the wheels.

Didn't really like the gray colour, so sold the kit for a good price.
No idea on colour i'm gona use. Will leave paint to the last job after it's up and running, etc.
Them RS wheels must be getting very scarce, as i have been scundered with request to sell them.

Do you have a close up picture of the servo mount. I am at that stage and would like to see your mounting method. Existing picture doe not show exact mount. Thanks, Steve

Ok back on track now. So a few pics of what i've done since my last post ages ago. Got my kenny pipes. Lined them up and welded the hanger tab behind bottom front hanger bolt. Had to mod the stand to clear the fat part of the chamber. Just grinded open the back off the stand, Refitted it and bent it out untill it cleared. Removed it an dwelded the hole closed. Sits fine on it and just needs powdercoating to finish

Got the headlamp bracket powercoated and refitted. Made a bracket for my acwell clock out of a scrap rgv clock bracket. Trial fit before powdercoating to get it sitting right. Looks good (me thinks)

A few other thing i got done Sorted out the gear linkage. Fitted the clutch side casing (just need to make oil pump blank) Fitted the cans to the pipes Trial fit of RGv switchgear but might stick with the yam ones (undecided) Managed to blag a set of undamaged side panels and tailpiece off ebay a while back.

This is how she sits today. Really only needs the wiring sorted, carbs built and brakes plumbed and hangers put back on after powdercoating. Gonna get it done this year for deffo.

Thanks for the kind comments guys.
Have scaled down my diesel habit (a lot) to give me time to concentrate on this. without interfering with the existing work and family comitments.
I think i've made the right decision
