There's a 160 on the rim Scott and i have less than 1cm between edge of tyre and swingarm. Had a wee peep down the chainline and it does look like chain will be close to wheel. Looks good but might have to settle for narrower tyre. Need to give Mr Kimber a wee bell tomorrow to chat about offsets etc.... So i'll probably take a few offset sprockets from him and have a play about.

The mk2 wheel, spacers, and caliper hanger fitted in perfectly with no modification. Spoke to MR Kimber and i will need to get cush drive milled and use an offset sprocket bolted on from inside of cush drive with possibly an offset front sprocket too. I can only go 150 max on rear tyre. As i used the RS caliper hanger all i had to do was make a new hole in it for it's sliding guide p to line up with sliding guide on RGV arm. simple grinder job.

3 months since i done anything. but i'm doing it once so it'll be right nowmatter how long it takes. Now that i have got a bit of room in the workshop, i can get on with things. So got the wheels powdercoated black and fitted new bearings. Got the sprocket carrier back from NK and a sweet job it is. Basically to get the chain aligment a custom sprocket was made and sits on the inside of carrier. The inside face of carrier had to be milled in and the sprocket milled into the groove. All fits sweet at the back and nigel assures me chain run will be fine when used with the offset front sprocket he also supplied to suit the 31k motor. So this is where it's at now. To get the RS bottom yoke spot on i had to use an LC bottom steering head bearing in the bottom yoke. Fitted a 5mm spacer under the bearing. Top bearing is a std LC bottom bearing to accomodate the width of the rs yoke at the top.. And the gsxr400(gk76a) top yoke fits perfect. All fits sweet. Just need a set of risers and bars and that's the forks/yokes done. Need to tidy up the front disk rotors and get the front wheel in. Oh yeah, nearly forgot. I have to get a set of tyres too. Bought RD NUTS (paul) bodykit but not so sure now so have asked for comments in a post in advice and help page. rdlccrazy.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=mods&action=display&thread=11877Feel free to give you're 2 bobs worth.

I got time to do bit more over the last few days. Got some brand new avon rubber on the wheels and rebuilt and fitted the bottom end. Top end just sitting there as new valves etc en-ruoute from TTS. Also got the chain run done and it looks good. Fitting the RS wheel into the rgv arm was effortless I used the rs spacers and caliper carrier and fitted like it belonged there. No modding to the spacer dimensions. Only had to mod the caliper carrier to go in the alignment guide for chain adjusting. Fitted the lamps to the front and that's how she sits this evening.

Finally, an update. Got me risers fitted to the top yoke. Gave them a good coat of paint Fitted the original 31k ign switch And sorted me lockstops out. Next up was to fit the 600mile 650 Gladius shock i got. I had to drill out the 10mm bolt holes on the shock to 12mm to suit the bike. Top mount needed 2 12mm washers on each side of the bush to centre it good and tight Bottom mount needed 1 12mm washer on outside of bottom mount and a 12mm spacer inside the mount to make it look finished. All fits sweet and no clearance issues While i was on my hands and knees. I fitted my polished tie bars. Next up was to fit these bad boys from TTS in oz Got some OE bushes and stuck em all together Shiney pistons on the crank. Barrrels on Powervalve jointer piece on Head on (but gonna buy some bling bling S/S head studs) Rotor and flywheel on So this is how she stands today. Next on the agenda is to get the brembo calipers and master cylinders painted black (of course) and fitted Still loads more to do. But. Slowly, but surley. I'm getting there

Love the stance of this: ...really nice work and lots of good progress, cheers for the pics! I have a set of those calipers here as was going to use one for my KTM SM, I reckon that thing will stop if you just breathe on the lever! On my LC Ive fitted 'busa 6 pots and a radial master, so like you, too much brakes for sure... hahaha.
