Hi everyone
After riding my new, to me, 31K I deffinatelly need to upgrade the front end.
It dives too quickly and brakes poorly, not progressive at all. It has braided brakes lines already, will change fluid but dont think its going to make much of a change.
A friend of mine has an R6 front end with radial pump and brakes really good.
What options, appart from the R6, do you guys use? Straight swap? Kits available?

Lots of later front ends can be made to fit, but you are then probably gonna change the back end to match and even things up. 17" tyres are more "industry standard" than 18's, and trying to find decent rubber for an 18" rear wheel matching a 17" front is getting harder, and limits your choice. Other things to think about are steering lock - bigger front ends may limit steering arc and require engineering work to frame or yokes. Likewise, if you are running a c**kpit fairing, new brackets may be required. All standard stuff, covered on a ton of builds on this forum of course, but it's rarely plug and play when it comes to suspension and wheels. Easier options are later brakes - Blue, Silver and Gold Spots can be made to fit with readily available adapter brackets, you can upgrade springs and oil for forks too. When was your set up last serviced ? Might already be really tired, and some basic maintainance might get some improvement. Difference in price for just the brakes/fork overhaul will be massive compare to a front/rear end Dusty

If you have later 31K F1/N1 or onwards forks, you can bolt on Triumph four pots for a massive improvement in braking.
With new oil in the forks and more preload, they can feel pretty decent. Although not up to the standards of later fork swaps obviously.

If you have later 31K F1/N1 or onwards forks, you can bolt on Triumph four pots for a massive improvement in braking. With new oil in the forks and more preload, they can feel pretty decent. Although not up to the standards of later fork swaps obviously. Thanks, any part number in particular for the Triumph four pots? Model Bike/year? Will try this router first along with nissin radial pump.

Will try this router first along with nissin radial pump. Sure, you want the earlier four pots with the 83mm hole spacing. Great!!! Thanks!🍻 Scored a set of calipers on eBay 🙌🏼 On the link you mentioned, it used the cross over brake line. Any difference on using both brake lines directly from the pump?
