I now have developed twitchy wrist arm tension. t**t for short. He says the tank is spangly inside, new brakes tyres and a new MOT. I want this bike. Badly. Oh and a dyno with 100 bhp too.

Is it local Alex ? Even if you have to drive 2 or 3 hours each way, it has to be worth the time to go and look. 1 day now could affect the rest of your biking ownership. Fingers crossed it's a good 'un

Once again the Devil slaps me in the face with a moist kipper.
Had a chat and the guy seemed very genuine but the bike isn't what it appears to be. Slingshot engine, cracked bodywork and a non standard paint job. Mouse gave me a call and it turns out the tyres are over 20 years old!!
So...I will keep an eye out for the ideal (if there is such a thing) bike, but concentrate more on getting my LC on the road.

Link doesn't work mate. But no, not thought about it. Import duties maybe?

Import duties are not so much on older vehicles into Holland.
Could be the same rules for the UK?

Is it not just 5%
Thee registration would be the hard bit as you'd need a NOVA which ideally needs to be through a shipping company and started before you bring it in
Probably easier riding it over then having a convo with them and acting dumb 🤣

Me too, ride over and have a reg paperwork and the receipt handy for when they ask.

Has to be a slabbie. 750. Blue and white. Original as possible and ready to rock n' roll. Time I will bide (said in a Yoda voice).

Thanks Dusty. Probably the most original I've seen except the paint. That light blue was never a colour option nor was that gap down the centre of the tank. However I am interested. I have his number so might give him a bell.

Found an old pic of my 1100G 20210926_085907 by dusty miller, on Flickr I think the recovered seat threw me off a bit as t's a brighter blue than standard, but I think the paint looks great

Now that's odd. Never seen a slabbie painted like that before and 2 rock up! P'raps I'm wrong...but hmmm. That light blue seat though is vomit inducing lol, but easily rectified.

It is for sure. Sorely tempted. Oddly enough a 400 version popped up on eBay a minute ago for £1250. That's very, very cheap. Runs, rides, needs a tidy up but it's all there. Going to sleep on it and contact both sellers tomorrow.

That looks very nice! Looks like it's all there, seat looks as though not recovered that well but hey. I think that is just a later colour scheme but a gen Suzuki one.
Not sure i would bother with the 400, not if you really want a 750.
I would move quick Alex, maybe try and see it this weekend?

The "cheap" 400 on ebay is listed as a project bike. Nice that this 750 still has an original exhaust and airbox fitted, and all the panels look good. I could live with that seat initially, and get it recovered in the correct blue next winter.

A fekkin CBR600? Next up it'll be a Honda Jazz, flat cap and wearing slippers and pyjamas. And that leads down the slippery slope to caravan ownership.
