Guys just posting this for a friend of mine. Only just bought this 350 Banshee and the engine's gone pop.
Just have a look at the amount of play in the end of the crank!đŠ
What's your thoughts, broken crank, destroyed main bearings, never seen that much play in a crank before!đĩâđĢ
Have a look at the video guys!đ
Unfortunately I can't get the whatsApp video to download here, is does on Tapatalk but there's about 2 to 3mm play in the end of the crank, side to side and up and down on the rotor side! đŠ

'mates'... er, 'Facebook Mates' is what im thinking... The power of the internet to fk up stuff, condensed into well meaning but ultimately poor advice.
The way Ive seen it work:
- One person says they do something silly, lets call it X. - The very next week X is repeated as a fact and gets offered as advice by those who have never done it, just 'read it last week somewhere'. - Over time X becomes embellished as XX and so on. - When you get to XXX you find out you're watching someone get f**ked... just pray its not you who is the star of the show.
Easily avoided by joining a reputable forum and reading around the subject, plus not taking advice from others without checking out not only the advice itself, but also the giver of the advice.
(and yes, I do know what i said here and the use of XXX lol - being funny takes years of practice, or simply knowing your audience... {takes a bow} lol)
(funnily enough, its not something you can get in Sydney and nor would you want to. Adverts abroad tell a different story to real life... who knew!? lol)

I saw a video the other day, someone doing a 350LC for one of their customers, said the carbs where the problem, said the bike was an early model (non tie bar) and that the carb internals where all wrong, so they changed them. In their next breath they said they had no idea what these 4H16 needles where off, but clearly not for the 350LC............. at which point I rolled my eyes and stopped watching the total crap and bollox it is - seen so many of these so called experts online with loads of people blowing smoke up their arse that they start to beleive they are gods/guru's and can never be wrong..............
I just keep taking the phone calls to fix the mess they create, I should thank them really, although I've no idea why people don't post up that these people made a right "feck" up of their bike so it helps others avoid having the same issue
I have a bike here right now, its blown up twice, had a full engine overhaul supposedly, but its blown up twice, once after 5 miles, 2nd time after 20 miles, took me 20 mins to find the cause (perished/torn reed block rubber), but upon checking the crank I could move it up and down by more than 1mm and in and out by a similiar amount, and yet its had a full engine overhaul by a supposed expert...........
I'll get off my soap box now .................

Definition of an expert: An EX is a has-been and a SPERT is a drip under pressure.
